The property is a quiet, beautiful villa with intricate wood carvings, open windows that let you soak in the beauty and sounds of rainy cochin. The service staff were polite, helpful and the owner is a pleasure to deal with. Few things for improvement: 1. The wifi and tv never worked. We reached out multiple times that our wifi isn't working but we were just given the same password which didn't work for any of us. 2. Guests don't get a set of keys so they come in anytime. We had to call the caretakers and were waiting at the gates at late hours. Thankfully they were nearby and we tried to come back home by 10 PM. 3. You only get 1 towel per bathroom - no matter how many days you stay. We had to insist on one additional towel for the 3 days stayed :) 4. There is laundry but we were asked to purchase our own laundry soap. It would have been convenient to carry it on site. 5. We did see evidence of roaches and termites but I can say that about a lot of other properties I've stayed with. Overall, the service + amenities match it's 3-star rating but has potential for more a better "user" rating with some training for the staff. It felt slightly disappointing - because for the same price, there are 5-star properties at better locations. But that is very subjective and the comparison is very hard considering the relative uniqueness of the property.

We have celebrated new year with family and friends. Good place for family gathering. Nice swimming pool. Mosquitoes are really an issue. First floor balcony area beam is having a risk of hitting head. The house keeper should give this warning to the guests.

Thank you Marigold villa for hosting us.. great view; rooms were clean and we enjoyed the time near the pool… family friendly atmosphere; kids had lot of fun … we loved it all… Mathew cheetan ; chef chechi were all helpful. Ur place gave us beautiful memories. Will come back for more. 🫶 Thank you marigold team.

It was well-maintained and provided a refreshing respite from the tropical heat. Whether I wanted to take a relaxing swim or simply lounge by the poolside, it was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the serene atmosphere. Another aspect that truly impressed me was the quality of the food. Marigold Villa Homestay served delectable dishes that satisfied my taste buds. The meals were prepared with care and attention to detail, offering a mix of local flavors. The culinary experience truly added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. In terms of accommodations, the rooms at Marigold Villa were comfortable and clean. The decor exuded a charming blend of traditional and modern elements, creating a cozy and welcoming environment. The staff was attentive and responsive to any requests or inquiries I had, ensuring that my needs were met throughout my stay. The location of the homestay in Fort Kochi was also a plus. It provided easy access to nearby attractions and landmarks, allowing me to explore the rich cultural heritage of the area conveniently. The serene neighborhood added to the tranquility of the homestay making it an ideal place for a peaceful getaway.
