Budget hotel means dnt expect even service. Dharamshala is far better than this. No 24 hrs hot water. No kettle even no toiletries. Find a big spider in the washroom. Terrible to us. Room name deluxe but poor in quality.

Location Is good, but room is just like Dharmashala. And No lift available on there so that is big problem for third floor room . So first ask for that

Right in front of the kalari centre, next to the market and massive available space inside the compound for parking. The room sizes are pretty big. Cons: due to local electricity issues power cuts can happen have a torch with you or your phone should help if needed. There are issues with the exhaust and the toilet drainage systems which should be looked into and regulated for an overall easy to dry bathroom. The furniture is good but needs overall aeration since it does smell a bit at times. The staff is very helpful and cordial.

Very good place to stay with spacious room and amazing service. The atmosphere is very calm. And they change your bedsheets and clean room on daily basis. There's parking space. And you get hot water in the morning as well. The rooms are clean and neat. Loved our stay here.

I hope i could this hotel half a star for their staff behaviour, This hotel is located at a prime location but people managing this property are goons. I suggest you please look for other options if you are travelling with family and kids. We were taken to this hotel by one the local jeep driver who offers jeep safaris. Since we needed room for a night as we were planning to leave theekady in morning after our boat ride and we agreed staying here. Since we were family travelling together we requested 1 room with multiple beds which was agreed by front office person (one of the low life) at agreed price. Since we agreed on room rest we requested that room should be opened for ladies and baby and we will pay after withdrawing monet from ATM . Till now everything was fine but trouble started when we came back with money. Since we all were born and raised in Northern parts of India we were speaking in hindi among ourself, now when we came and started entering our personal details in his hotel register this person who was managing the front demand more money then what we agreed. Now we could see that this person is trying to cheat us we requested him to cancel our reservation because by this time my brother has already entered his details in the register but now this person was not ready to cancel the reservation as he was claiming that we used his room. Please be informed our bags were still in our car and it was just 15 mins passed between our initial agreement and dispute time. Since it was night only ladies went into to the room because we went out to withdraw cash from ATM. Now when we were adamant that we'll not pay him anything extra apart from what we agreed on this guy became aggressive towards us. We clearly told him we'll not pay anything extra and we don't want to stay in his hotel but he was adamant that we should pay him because we used his room. Since we didn't agree to his demands he became rude and tried to fight me and my brother. Since my brother is clam nature he tried to pacify the situation but this guy was ready to fight. Later when my brother threatened him about calling the cops he settled down and we left the property and got a new hotel with far better people.

A nice hotel to stay along with your family for a day or two. Location is the USP of this place as it's just 300 metres from the Periyar Lake Bus pickup and drop point. Market is 100 metres and just bang opposite to this hotel is Kadathanadan Kalari & Navarasa Kathakali centre. Rooms are basic non-ac but clean and washroom is good with hot water available. There is no breakfast facility or other dining option. Plenty of dining options are available just outside this hotel. There is good parking space. Highly recommended.

Wonderfull experience here . One minus is the switch port here is only few , so take any extra portable switch box to charge more mobiles. The stafs from reception to room service all excellent. Thank you for the experience
