Hotel locality very dirty like slum.. Room interior not good, all looks old even walls color rushed out. If you want to enjoy matheran do offline booking.

Good service, convinient place for stay near market & hotels. Staff is also good & supportive. Must visit for budget friendly trip to matheran. Special thanks to service provider Mr. Shivkumar😊

All over experience was good but room was not proper because of rain water was draining in room mattress was getting wet cause of draining also they are not providing drinking water and there were also some electricity issue. Staff was very cooperative. Market is also near to location so things were easily available. Place was in slum area so there was no any view from hotel or room. Rooms were not as photos given on google. Highly not recommended for stay if you are going on vacations.

We booked this cottage based on the photos seen on booking.com and images shared by the owner. At first, we thought it was a good choice as it was a budget cottage. However, it was way worse that what it was when we stepped in. First of all, its near the slums on the other side of the Matheran station but i won't consider this as the bigger problem. The bigger issue was that the room was quite dark even in the afternoon. I think the room photo shared with us were definitely edited using some tool. Secondly the photos shared showed it had a television but when we reached there, we were told that there is no TV with this room. Basically, this is a shabby room which if been promoted as a deluxe room. We paid 2800 for one night i.e. 2400 for 1 night and extra 400 for late check out. After experiencing this nightmare, we decided not to stay there at all and immediately vacated the room. |Now we contacted the owner and told him about this. We did not seek a full refund but at least the extra 400 we paid for late check out as we did not even spend 10 mins over there. But the owner with his careless attitude did not even reply back and made away without entire amount with his room may be made available for someone else and taking money from them (may be). Never expected this from any resort owner in Matheran till date. |I would recommend not to even think of staying put here even if you have a low budget. There are many other excellent options available in the neighborhood with prices lower than this miserable place.

Extremely dirty room, filthy bed linen, smelly curtains. Location is also in dirty vicinity. No wifi inside the room. No room service. Pathetic. Not recommended at all.

Budget Accommodation surrounded with local residence and dirts all around. but premises and room are clean and room also good. Care taker is helpful. Overall good value stay experience. Tip: Dont book from online (if not any special holidays) as you get cheaper rate. Matheran is not big!

Overall the stay was good considering it is a low budget option. Room is spacious but tv was not working.Also no reception is present because of which their number is not reachable. This makes it difficult to locate it as no one picks call. Also not many local people know about it ,so even its difficult to call and reach. Rest everything was fine.

Rooms were fine but the area was my biggest concern. It is near Market but the hotel is situated near the slums. The view is restricted as there's no proper scenery around that can be captured. They don't provide any office or room service as such so one needs to call them for anything. The rooms are nice but not fancy enough. It is figuratively cheaper so if one can avoid the mentioned concerns then it will work for them. There are hotels in the market so lunch dinner won't be a problem. Mauli Niwas also provides food services so that can be considered as option as well. I was there for two days one night so it was no big deal for me. It was a good experience for me because place can be overlooked with the right company.
