STRAND HOTEL

Rooms are neat and clean. Staff are very polite and helpful. Just 5 minutes of walking distance from Gateway of India amd Taj Hotel. Sea view is nice. Room food service is not available they should provide room food services.

I found the place to be very much overpriced for such a small space, being an old property the place requires a lot of maintenance to be done, the halls are narrow and has a bad stench to it, the rooms were stained and dirty and all the windows were kept . The staff wasn't of much help and found to be inconsiderate towards my modest requests. All together it was not a pleasurable experience for me at the strand hotel, colaba

Just because it is near Taj hotel, they can't overcharge for poor service, pathetic room condition and 0 amaneties - not even an iron. I had to go client office with wrinkled clothes for all 4 days. They just kept on saying we are sending. Shameless. Avoid this hotel unless you get it for a grand or two. Staff doesn't know courtesy, front office and both service staff are rude and don't really care.

It’s a big fraud, women should be more careful when you book this hotel!!! We are two girls and they have wantedly given a dirtiest room in which bathroom can be clearly visible to the backside building members and there are steps behind that where these service members can climb and see through!!! Room no 106 it is!!! Please don’t book this hotel!!!

Rooms are very dirty, shower curtains are damaged, waah basin is leaking, not repaired after complaints. Food in the menu is not up to the list. Mutton , fish, and any types of fruits are not available all the time. Whatever food is given is tasteless. Waiters are rude... Overall I will not suggest anyone to come in HOTEL STRANDS.

We stayed at this property in February ...It is in the posh locality near Taj Mahal hotel Colaba....The scenic beauty and vibes are good.... Ignore the negative reviews because living in such a property in such a posh area is worth the price that we pay .....As far as I can say it is the best price to live in such a locality

The hotel room was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I was impressed by the attention to detail in the hotel room, from the luxurious bedding to the thoughtfully arranged amenities.

We stayed for 3 nights. Breakfast was good, the ground floor room is big, they have an elevator 🛗 Using a wheelchair have it's challenges when traveling, and of them, is steps at entrance. This hotels step was small but could improve. That was the only downside, that there was no ramp at the entrance to the hotel. It would improve this hotel massively if they had one, more people we know would come if they only had a ramp. Improvement would be to have a ramp for wheelchairs & ppl with a limited ability to use steps.
