The Majlis Hotel Colaba

Stayed there for two nights...was too disappointed to see the room. It was a single room which was converted into triple occupancy... there is no space to use... it's not worth the money... The buffet breakfast which was ₹250 per head was very bad. The place that they were saying a restaurant was so small...no space to sit. The only thing good was... the staffs there...on the whole it was a below average hotel for family stay. Bachelor can adjust there...

This is my first solo trip and It was a great experience at The Majlis Hotel with warm welcome at lobby by Mr. Salman.. My vacations became a special with this stay. Salman took special care and efforts to arrange the require things of my room with care. ultimate hospitality, i recommend this hotel to all who looks for friendly budget hotels room with lounge access ! really wonderful experience. nothing to complain at all, great breakfast. The room was perfect and I enjoyed learning about the history of the Mumbai. It is near to the gateway to India. The location was excellent and the staff were friendly and courteous. The room was well organised and the finer details were looked after and we'll thought through.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very disappointed with my experience. First, the room was incredibly small, barely enough space to move around. The washroom was even worse—so tiny that it felt uncomfortable to use. To make matters worse, the cleanliness was far below standard. The room had a musty odor, and the floor didn’t seem to have been cleaned properly. Room service was also lacking. It took ages for them to respond to simple requests like extra towels, and when they did, the items looked poorly maintained. For the price, I expected a much better experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and clean stay.

I was in hurry to catch the flight on Dec 9 and left my wallet accidentally. The staff helped me keep it and contacted me many times to make sure how to get my wallet back. Finally I went back today to get my wallet back. Luckily there was totally nothing loss. I appreciated that they did a great help to me. Thank you again 👍🏻

A hidden gem really! Located very close to the Gateway of India and nearby attractions. The staff are very polite, friendly, always with a smile and ready to help. A very safe and warm environment. The rooms are extremely neat and well maintained. The restaurant ambience is amazing with a great variety of food options which are quite delicious. Great value for money. Mr Salman and Mr Om Prakash along with all the service staff, thank you for the great service.

It was a very luxurious and peaceful stay. Mr Salman and Mr Om Prakash were very quick on their toes to help. The breakfast was excellent with an impressive view and ambience. Room service was great and all requirements were fulfilled within minutes. Specially in the price range they offer with such a great location is definitely recommended for anyone visiting.

This is a very normal place. The price we pay is not worth. The rooms are pretty small and so is the bathroom. Also, they serve breakfast at a different hotel which is on the back side of this hotel. The place where they serve breakfast is very too congested. A very normal hotel. Don't keep your expectations high based on the reviews.

We stayed in Majlis Hotel for three nights, . It is pleasant one. Hotel is in fifth floor of the building. Lift is provided for movement. It Is budget friendly Restaurant . 1. It is near to Gate way of India - Walkable distance to Chhatrapati Shivaji Museum , 2. In the vicinity good Restaurants are available. 3. Rooms are good, clean, well maintained. Bath room is small. 4. When ever requested for additional cleaning , staff quickly cleaned. 4. For Breakfast, need to go to adjacent hotel, comprising of three to four different varieties. Idly . wada, Bread, butter , Jam, Omelette ( Regular item on all the three days), Pasta, Poha, Pav Baji, Puri, Baji , Aloo Parota, Upma ( Uppittu) . Except Idly , all the items were good. Idly batter need to be fermented more for fluffy idlys. Pasta, Omlette, Vada, Poha Were excellent , tasted good. Enjoyed one of the Best Pasta. in recent times. Pav Baji, Poori Baji , Upma, were good. 5. Special thanks to Mr. Om Prakash, and all the staff in the Hotel who helped us and made our memorable stay memorable. 6. Special appreciation to the management for having good staff in the Hotel. There were some minor hiccups, which were addressed quickly by the team. Overall satisfactory stay.
