Rooms was neat but was small. The worst part was had foul smell of smoking room, i didnt like it. Even though sprayed room freshner, the smell didnt go. AC and fan was working. Finding this hotel was very difficult because they don't have any name board outside. I felt rate is high considered to the room. Another negative is only shared toilet. They have 2 european toilet and 1 indian closet .

I recently stayed at Hotel Shabana for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The deluxe room was spacious as per the price and location, with an attached washroom and a nice window that let in plenty of light but the outside view of second floor slab area where I was staying needs to be cleaned of the plastic bags thrown from the above. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Gateway of India, Leopold Café, Bademiya, Baghdadi, and Colaba Causeway. You can easily explore many iconic eateries and heritage sites. The service was excellent. Hamza, the young and energetic receptionist, made checking in a breeze and was a pleasure to talk to. A special shoutout to Mohammad and Raja, who were incredibly attentive to all my needs, and to Mr. Narayan, the senior receptionist, who ensured everything ran smoothly. The room service was also very good—quick and reliable. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay, as the hotel’s no smoking, no drinking, and no couples policy makes it an excellent choice for families and solo travelers, including women. However, on my recent trip, my neighbors were smoking in their room, and the smell wafted into mine. Although I reported it and the staff sprayed air freshener, it raised questions about the enforcement of the no smoking policy. Despite this, the friendly atmosphere contributed positively to my experience. For those on a budget, there are also well-maintained rooms but can be small which might not have windows but have AC so choose according to your needs with shared washroom. I highly recommend booking directly with the hotel instead of through online aggregators, as they offer discounts that make your stay even more affordable. Although I forgot to click pics but within a week I have 2 nights stay so that time I will post videos and photos. In the meantime I have added photos of nearby attractions. Overall, Hotel Shabana provided a pleasant and memorable experience. I look forward to staying here again! P.S : All are my own honest opinion with zero affiliation with the hotel. For Deluxe room with 2 person the price offered to me was ₹2600 per night. The price for small rooms without attached washroom and window starts from ₹1300 subjected to availability. Please confirm with the hotel on the price beforehand as it may change during peak hours or festive seasons.

It was okay to stay there 1 night. I don't really like the bathrooms there, they're shared on the public hall. Not really smell good and it's difficult to control the water there which is not going well also especially when someone else using that in the same time you'll get bad luck. In the room I didn't find how to cover the windows. There was some shade but seemed like it was stuck on the top and can't move it down. And what was really weird is that the staff is probably living in the hotel so they are sleeping on the hall there and you have to wake up them in the morning... In total i didn't liked that place for that price, i think it's too much.

Honest review: Good things: The hotel is near Gateway and behind old Taj hotel > it will be difficult to locate if its your first time, just remember it is Opposite to Delhi Darbar hotel and near Regal Cinema or Gateway Circle where all vehicle stops. Worst things: 1. Room is very tiny, it does not matter which room you choose on Agoda, they will give u any room which is vacant at your arrival time, which is a small AC room they refer as Deluxe room, no it is not a Deluxe room, it is a small room with one bed and TV with AC that is it and attached bathroom. 2. Floor was not cleaned and mopped when we arrived, soles of feet became black dusty due to dirt. 3. They give 2 water bottle and 2 tea bag, 2 milk bags, nothin from 2nd day onwards, no brooming, cleaning of the floor, no cleanliness. 4. They do not change bedsheet at all, they do not clean it, no towel is offered for 2nd day. 5. Every time, tap water, basin water flow is extremely slow, u have to always ask Raja to fasten the flow, which he does from room 213 for my room 214, if you go in the bathroom it becomes very difficult, I had to wear cloths and tell him again, that is the reason u cannot use shower and cannot use Jet-spray too. 6. TV does not work except for COLORS channel 7. They do not allow to even just to heat your food which u bring from outside as they do not have any restaurant in a hotel Only book this room in case of emergency as for water in the tap, u will have to always ask hotel staff, like every minute 8. No windows to room, no ventilation.

The place is decent but not up to the mark. They say it as 3-star hotel but it doesn't look like. The rooms are very congested. Cleanliness is good. But if it's your last option then only go for it. Also because of the outer infrastructure it doesn't feel that safe.

It’s Over priced, could be due to Good location as it’s right at Causeway Market, next to Regal Cinema. Rooms are very small you’ll not have enough space to open your luggage & having 3-4 common bathrooms, there are CCTV cameras on the corridor. Bed linens are not so clean but not that bad. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.
