Hotel View Point

The hotel manager has very carefully chosen the name of this hotel ---THE VIEW POINT Well , very sorrowfully , the only views that we can see inside the hotel are --- Very unclean bathrooms , dirty broken walls , tattered pillows , and dusty bedsheets. One needs 200 IQ to distinguish between the rooms and the toilets . Was blown away by the smell of the bathroom while entering for the first time . Also , got a rude shock upon entering the kitchen . Disgracefully was going to commit some illegal mistakes assuming it to be a bathroom. Now , coming to the point of the staff behaviours_it is very hard to identify whether they were normal humans or some paranormal creatures . They refused to co-operate with us. Futhermore , the hotel staffs are very eco- friendly. Every customer that goes to that hotel is taught to save water .There was no water present in the hotel from morning to the night . After suffering the entire day , at midnight , a witch like lady with scary uniform and phantom outlook comes to our rooms and disturbes our sleep to confirm that water has finally come. But looking to her way of addressing us with such appearance got me into deep thinking that she had the intention of frightening us.👻👽👻👽 Was misled by the videos of some youtubers, and by the reviews written by the manager himself or by some who had taken bribes for those lies .But the reality was quite harsh . NEVER EVER COME TO THIS HELL IF YOU WANT TO SURVIVE . THANK YOU.

Service is absolutely terrible.. rooms are horrible.. found hairs and stain on bed sheet . Food is also not good ... At last I can say book another 2 star hotel instead of this .. this hotel doesn't deserve 1 star 🤢

This hotel is located in the heart of the gangtok. MG market , Lal market , taxi stand all are very near to this hotel. Nice hill view shown from the hotel balcony and kanchanjangha also from their dining place. I stayed here for three days in november 2023 at room no 302, room is big, 3 person can accomodate and it is a view room. Room has TV but not working, room has land line but no intercom facility, calling bell not working, no housekeeper for clean the room, no night lamp here, gyeser not properly working. Manager and hotel staffs are very fishy and tricky person. Their service and behaviour most worsty. All time they tried to provide service with huge commission basis. They have own restaurant and menu card also but menu rate is not match with this. Wi fi is not properly working. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I suggest this hotel only for location and view purpose but not suggest to take any service from them otherwise huge money will be loss.

I stayed their for more than 3days behaviour was good, staff were friendly & the veg food was impressive. Pritam Da he was the manager. I would highly recommend for tourist to stay.

It was a good experience. We have stayed there from 2nd to 5th July 2023. we have viewed Mt. Kanchan from room. The lachung yamthang zero point package was spectacular. The lachung hotel was excellent. All the staffs are well behaved. Shantanu Babu and other managerial staff was well cooperated.

I had gone here during the winter season of 2013 with my family. I had stayed for three nights and four days. The hotel is not very popular and I was very apprehensive about going there. But we got a huge surprise- the ambiance of the hotel was neat and tidy! Our room was spacious and airy! We had a beautiful view of the Kanchenjunga peeping in the midst of the clouds! The staff was very courteous and warm and helped us a lot! ||||The food was amazingly good. You get a lot of diversity in the menu. Do gorge on their Chicken Momo's which are a rave in the restaurant of the hotel. The view next to the restaurant of the hotel is very pretty. I just sat there and enjoyed the view all day long.||||The hotel is extremely near to the taxi stand and the bus stop, which makes the sight-seeing and visit to other places much easier. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all those people who are looking for budget friendly hotels with good ambiance and food!||||The stay at the hotel was extremely nice. It was not at all pinch in the pocket and very affordable. Would love to visit there again!
