I recently stayed at this hotel in Gangtok and had an overall decent experience. *Pros:* - The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a good place to rest after a day of sightseeing. - The view from the window was absolutely stunning! It was a highlight of the stay, with beautiful scenery that made the experience more memorable. - The staff at the reception were friendly and welcoming, which made check-in and check-out smooth and easy. - The location of the hotel is excellent – it's right next to MG Marg, making it very convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring the area. *Cons:* - The building itself is quite old and could use some updates, especially in terms of maintenance and modern amenities. - One downside was the approach to the hotel. As you enter, you have to pass by a drainage area, which can be a bit unpleasant. Overall, while there were a few drawbacks, the beautiful view, friendly service, and great location made up for them. It's a decent option if you're looking for a simple stay in Gangtok, especially if you want to be close to MG Marg. However, it may not be ideal for those seeking more modern facilities.

Good, with comfortable rooms that can easily accommodate four people. The location is excellent, just a short walk from MG Marg. However, the food didn’t meet expectations. We were charged 1000 rupees per night for one room due to the travel agency we booked through, but the regular price would likely be higher. Overall, it’s a good place to stay with a great location.🌃

1. Conditions of the Rooms are worst, not matched with photos they shown in the website. 2. They provided dirty Bedsheets and pillow covers . 3. Disappointed with the service. Ps: I will not suggest this hotel to anyone.

If you are looking for a budget hotel at Gangtok, it is one of the best option. We'll behaved staff, good location, helping attitude of the owner are the added value for money.

Stayed there only for one night. Very very basic room with bare minimum amenities. Bed sheet had stains, walls were discolored, furnitures were quite old. Overall very poor maintenance. Do not expect much. The only advantages are the location & the price. No offence but huge improvement required. May be other rooms are better but no idea.

I recently had the displeasure of staying at the Lhonark Residency in Gangtok, and it was an experience I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. Upon arrival, we were dismayed to discover black water flowing from the drainage system, a sight visible every time we approached the hotel entrance. Let's start with the room itself, which was a complete disaster. The bedsheet was not just stained, it was a patchwork of various unidentifiable marks. The blanket provided was not just visibly worn and aged, it was threadbare and had holes in it, indicating prolonged use without replacement. The horrors didn't end there. The water pump stops working 3 to 4 times a day, causing complaints from all guests. Even when my friend complained, the hotel staff didn't cooperate. Instead, he shouted at my friend. The kitchen is dirty, with dusty serving bowls and glasses. One of my friends found hair in her dinner three times. It's just horrible. The staff were rude and indifferent, showing no interest in addressing my concerns or making my stay more comfortable. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this hotel at all costs. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

They are in center of city but no parking facility. They ask to park in nearby parking for 500 per day rent. Rooms are dirty. No hot water. Good expensive. Very bad smell on room. Very dark rooms, cheap people staying there. View is not good as on only on terrace where you can see city only. Only 1 plug in room. One towel for 4 people. Lifts starts from 1st floor. Never recommend it to anyone. Can give 0 rating.
