Hotel O Government Museum Chennai Formerly Ambience Home

I had booked this Hotel through Booking.com and got the confirmation with the price of appx Rs.2060.00 Later got whatsapp messages about the booking through Oyo. Few days before heading to Chennai, there was a call from Oyo and asked to pay before reaching the Hotel to avail discount of Rs.265.00 I did pay 1865.00 through Google Pay but didnot get any acknowledgement. However, while trying to check in of 2nd November, shocking to see that there is no Hotel in the address. I had to struggle and go for another Hotel in Chennai and spend more. Tried contacting the customer care and sent several complaints, but nobody called . Suresh Babu Bangalore

Just a taught? Customer is important or standard checkout at 11am is important? We sad to know OYO even failed to resolve , when I needed 24 hours checkout from my checking time. NOT SUGGESTED OYO AT ALL.

First and foremost, the property was in an unacceptable condition. The room was filthy, the bed and bedsheets were extremely dirty upon arrival. When I raised this with the person at the reception, the response I received was shocking — “Couples come and go, they make it dirty.” I stayed here for a full week, and not once was the room cleaned or the bed linen changed. The toilet was unhygienic, and the overall state of the room was very poor — definitely not worth the money charged. Additionally, breakfast was mentioned as included during booking, but at the property I was told it is no longer being provided — even though I paid for it. Totally disappointed with my stay. This was a terrible experience, and I strongly advise others not to book this property.

Very bad experience. i was told there are no rooms available when i went to check in, while my booking was still being shown in the confirmed list, the manager chose to give the room to some others before i reached and didn't care to atleast inform. I had to search and find another place that late.

The rooms were top-notch, sparkling clean and the check-in process was a breeze. A 5-star experience overall!
