We stayed in this property for two nights. The stay was pleasant. The staff was also polite. The restaurant staff was extra caring.

Luckily we were only booked for one night on our trip. We were on floor 3 above reception and a wedding party was in full swing till 2am. We then had lots of noise from guests being noisy and boisterous in the corridor till almost 3am. To top it all, when we got a drink from the fridge, we found the fridge was warm inside and we had no cold drinks. We eventually got to sleep at 4am. Why does the hotel put guests above the reception area if they know there is a noisy party till 2am?

The hotel has a huge "wanna be" Vibe, it clearly wants to be in the big league, and the rates are reflective of that ambition, but currently it's just like a budget hotel. Untrained staff, average decor, and worst of all, a terrible chef! Food is absolutely pathetic. Last night we ordered khichdi for dinner for our baby and made the mistake of saying "please put no chili" as in North India you never know what level of spicy is the considered ok. What we were served is a white mass of rice with small bits of almost raw carrots, forget spices they didn't even add salt. It was inedible and our daughter went to sleep on an empty stomach. Today lunch we ordered a veg thali which had a hefty price tag of 999 Rs. Told specifically that no chili doesn't mean no spice at all. We were served this dish in the pic, they forgot to add rice, the daal was too salty to eat and had a lair of chili oil on top, the raita had chili powder sprinkled on top. Absolutely no idea why a several star hotel chef would not know how to put a regular amount of salt in a dish! So, my advice is, don't go by the room rates, they are not justified by the service they offer, it's a budget hotel in all honesty.

We visited Grand Mercure Hotel in Agra to attend a wedding ceremony, and the experience was delightful. The hotel offers a luxurious ambiance with elegant décor, making it a perfect venue for grand celebrations. The banquet hall was spacious, well-decorated, and managed efficiently. The arrangements for the wedding were well-executed, with beautifully designed seating, lighting, and stage setup. The staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring that guests were comfortable. The food was a highlight, with a wide variety of delicious dishes catering to different tastes. The outdoor areas and overall setting added to the charm of the event. Overall, Grand Mercure Agra provided a great experience for a wedding function, offering excellent hospitality, a grand ambiance, and smooth event management.

Room were great n service was good. Little bit less variety in dinner and lunch..but breakfast has more varieties..some of the best items..dal makhani, rajma, dosa paranthe,..paneer dish can improved

It's next to metro station, which also blocks Taj view from lower floors. Everything is it should be for a five star. Overall Accor chain - you have my attention now.

This hotel stay was undoubtedly one of the most disappointing experiences of my life. From the moment I stepped into the room, it was evident that the maintenance was severely lacking. The shower in the washroom was non-functional, and even worse, the flush was also not working. On top of that, the basin was clogged, adding to the inconvenience. The air conditioning unit in the room was also faulty, making the overall environment uncomfortable. To make matters worse, I encountered multiple disturbances during the night with random phone calls, and the front desk failed to provide any satisfactory response or assistance. I can only assume that they have a record of such complaints, which speaks volumes about their service quality. Although a technician was sent to our room to address the issues, they spent an extended period of time attempting to fix the problems without offering an alternative room. This lack of concern for our comfort added to the overall dissatisfaction of the experience. In summary, my stay at this hotel can only be described as a truly horrendous and unforgettable ordeal. The multitude of problems with the facilities, combined with the lack of response and appropriate action from the staff, left me deeply disappointed.
