I found this to be one of the few 5-star hotels that actually care about their guests' well-being. We had no complaints and suggested some constructive feedback for improvement and they really appreciated it.

NillWe recently stayed at the Grand Mercure Hotel in Agra and was quite disappointed with the overall experience, especially considering its 5-star rating. Firstly, the service at the front desk was poor. The staff seemed disinterested and dismissive. When I reported an issue with the lack of hot water in my room, the maintenance staff arrived, rang the doorbell incessantly, and upon checking the lukewarm water, casually stated, “This is as hot as the water gets.” This was unacceptable. I followed up with a call to the front desk, only to have the staff hang up on me while I was still explaining the problem. On a positive note, the restaurant service and food were excellent. The staff there were attentive, and the dining experience was enjoyable. Unfortunately, the poor service from the front desk and the unresolved hot water issue overshadowed the good moments. The hotel does not live up to its 5-star claim and feels more like a 3.5-star establishment at best. I would not recommend it for travelers seeking a luxury experience.

NillWe had an excellent stay at Grand Mercure Agra, and everything about the experience was exceptional. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with spacious and clean rooms that made our stay very comfortable. The service from the staff was outstanding, from check-in to check-out—they truly went above and beyond. The location is also perfect, as the hotel is very close to the Taj Mahal, making it convenient for sightseeing. The food was fantastic with plenty of options to choose from, and we enjoyed every meal. Overall, it was such a pleasant experience, and I would highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Agra!

★★★We arrived at 1 pm and our room was not ready so we left sightseeing. Hotel is conveniently located near Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. We had booked 2 Taj facing rooms but were given non-Taj facing rooms. After some back forth, front desk gave us one Taj facing room. |Rooms had very bad musty smell likely related from vents or carpet. Pillows are odd.|There was very loud(max bass) music playing downstairs till 11pm so it was difficult to fall asleep. |Breakfast buffet was good.|Rooftop pool/bar area is nice.|Front desk was friendly.|This is an average hotel(not grand) but I think there are better options.

NillHotel very good. Hospitality A1. We were at the roof restaurant, we enjoyed the delicious food, they prepared according to our taste. The staffs are very warm hearted and kind. Mr. BANSAL Hospitality at the roof top resto was amazing. The restaurant manager Mr.Manish was also very humble and welcoming. I will suggest this hotel to anyone. Rate for us we were altogether 5 persons rating 5/5.
