Location: perfect. |In quiet Tapovan, the yoga centre of Rishikesh. Laxman Jhula a 5 minutes walk away. Good restaurants all around. ||Ambiance: perfect|The owner of the hotel Pramod Sahoo runs not only the hotel but also the Hari Om Yoga School in the hotel. He’s an excellent host but also an excellent spiritual guru. Our daily encounters with him have been an enrichment of our lives. ||Cost: budget to luxurious |We stayed in a budget room, which for Western European standards is indeed budget. But with a good strong hot water shower, a good bed, a fan on the ceiling and a staff that comes running for any help they can provide, we had nothing to complain. We’ll be back without a second thought.

I had a room on the upper floor that was excellent in so many ways: Great price, all the amenities, spick and span clean, good wifi & the owners and Vinod who helped with everything. As a solo female budget traveler, I felt safe and welcomed here. My travels have been long and sometimes arduous. It was like arriving in an oasis, for me to rest up for a few weeks with kind people and all the comforts I could want and then some.

Hotel is OK, little far from Laxman jhula and you need to walk 20 mins to reach. if you have small kid then walking to market is an issue. Rooms and toilet are clean. insect issue in the room due to external tree etc. only two people as staff but courteous. No bell or phone in the room, you need to walk to the reception every time if you need anything. they are little casual and slow in responding. Cold water was not available to drink as the fridge was not working. Restaurant not available so if its raining you will find it difficult to go out and eat. WI fi slow. stayed in first floor room.||Overall a little above average. can stay if you are not getting any best option. Tariffs are ok for middle class budget traveler not too cheap.

Very nice rooms with balconys on most. Clean ,comfortable, wi fi on each floor, with a Yoga hall on third floor and nice rooftop and cooking facilities. The owners are very personable and speak English well and know the area well as they come from the Dehra dun and Uttarkashi areas. Located in tapovan near restaurants and yoga schools. Great place!

Clean sheets, toilet, comfortable bed and yes location is not ideal (but that's me). This is about a kilometer far from the heart of Rishikesh (Laxman Jhula) and more than 2 kilometers from Ram Jhula. Its a good 15 minute walk to Laxman Jhula and may not be to the taste of many. But the owner reluctantly offered me an upgrade at a nominal extra from ground floor to more airy (and chilly) first floor. You can forget the wifi thing - my mobile data was faster than their wifi.

If you're on a tight budget, it is a good option. The room cost us around 1200 for 2. It was a standard room. Nothing fancy, but a clean bed and clean washrooms. The staff were cooperative but their services can be better. Since the details in different booking apps are wrong. They dont provide breakfast. They don't have a restaurant even. So be prepared for that
