The hotel stay was good. Very serene place. The approach road to the hotel was very bad. There is another road to this property but it's bit long. We chose standard room for the stay. Pricing is very competitive. Excellent service. Parking space is very small. Only 2 cars accommodate at a time.

I stayed at Windsong, Munnar, on December 7, 2024. Overall, it was a good experience for the price, with clean rooms, a peaceful ambiance, and courteous staff. The location is beautiful and ideal for a relaxing getaway. However, during the buffet breakfast, I was told by the staff that only one omelette per person was allowed, which felt restrictive and unusual compared to other hotels. After checkout, I raised this issue with the reception and Treebo, and they confirmed this was not a policy and apologized for the misunderstanding. They assured me they would instruct the staff to avoid such confusion in the future. This proactive response from Treebo was appreciated, and I’d still recommend the hotel for an affordable and pleasant stay in Munnar.

The rooms were good and the service was also good. Staff here were also helpful. Got rooms for a reasonable price. The only issue is roads to reach the hotel, except that everything is good.

The room was booked through a tour agency for reasons I wont go into - we usually book directly with the hotel. Breakfast included. We stayed 2 nights.||This review is going to be mixed - but not for the obvious reasons. People generally complain about clenliness of the hotel, the rooms, the quality of the service etc. My wife and I have no such complaints. ||We had no complaints about the hotel - manned by 2 people in the evening -- at all. Courteous and friendly. We got in late and they helped us to the room. The restaurant wasnt open, but they had room service. All good.||The room was fine - spacious, clean with a great view especially in the day. The overall Mobile and Wifi connection was surprisingly excellent (@ 90% of the places we were at in Munnar, as well). They upgraded us from the “plantation view” to the Mountain View (which was the same one as the video I had previously been sent by the agency). Luckily the room was available.||The next morning we went for breakfast at the restaurant - it was a canteen actually. Not an exaggeration. Open on 3 sides and extremely cold. The floor (tiled) was wet as the rain had come in. The food and beverages did run out and we had to decide on whether to wait in the cold or to stop eating. It eventually did get replenished.||The food was average and edible. Room service food was ok but it wasn’t hot. Overall it could have been better.||We didnt have a choice about eating elsewhere - it was a bit out of the way and you couldn't go anywhere without a vehicle. The last 100-150m leading to the hotel was a rocky, gravelly path and there is no place close by to walk to eat (at least we dont think so). And it was pretty dark at night which made it even more daunting.||The thing is that overall, room, scenary, friendliness, clenliness would have merited a 4 or a 5. The restaurant and location experience however, just dampened it overall, perhaps because one expects hotels to have functioning restaurants.||TIP: Just fix up the restaurant and make it a bit more functional. Or have a proper takeaway in case people want to eat. ||Recommendation - if you manage your expectations, it's a good, value-for-money hotel.

Yesterday we checked in at 12 at the hotel but the room was not ready. The receptionist asked to wait for 30 min and we waited since we had to change before going to explore places but after even after 45 min she said that it will take more time. By this time we lost and felt cheated and disappointed as if they can't provide rooms on time why they have mentioned the time. In munnar places are too far and we are here to travel not to waste time. We had to leave the hotel without even getting rooms after changing in the washroom 😞.. this is highly unacceptable. Also the room which was provided to us had spits beside the bed when we came back in the night. The bed had 2 to 3 hairs which was again disgusting. The washroom was smelling a lot. This is how it was when we came back tired. I am never going to recommend this hotel to anyone. Pathetic experience

Very comfortable stay, spacious and well maintained rooms. The view from the property is just breathtaking- cloudy mountains & lush greenery. It will be better if some activity areas are set for the travellers. It is 2 km away from the main road and bit far from munnar. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive.

While the property holds potential, there were several notable challenges during our stay. Firstly, the hotel’s accessibility is limited, as there is no direct road leading to it, making arrival difficult. Additionally, the room lacked basic amenities, including a bath kit, which detracted from the experience. Attempts to reach room service went unanswered, reflecting a lack of responsiveness from the staff. The in-room television, though functional, had issues with video playback, causing scenes to display in reverse—a surprising technical problem. Overall, the experience fell short, and improvements in access, service, and amenities would enhance future stays.

Approach roads are broken. The service is third class. Receptionist seems to be high on drugs. They have no clue what's going on. They don't even know where the keys are.there are no lifts.so you will be carrying your own luggage through the stairs. Save unnecessary hassle and book somewhere else.
