Olive Golden Ridge Resort

Very luxurious resort with excellent hospitality. The food and service was very good and rooms were also well maintained. The long ride up to the mountain resort is definitely worth the time with great view and fog. My kids really enjoyed the indoor games and had lots of fun. And moreover, Sreekala ma’am (the owner of the Golden Ridge)was there full time giving her best attention to make us all guests feel at home. Planning to go again during monsoon ☺

Golden Ridge Mountain Resort is undoubtedly one of the best places to stay while holidaying in Munnar. The resort has a breathtaking & panoramic view of the beautiful mountains surrounding it. The general ambience is quiet & serene, at the same time warm & welcoming. The rooms are well appointed, cosy, very clean & well maintained .The service is excellent. Facilities are also available for outdoor activities & indoor games. Most importantly, the staff, to a person, is extremely courteous & caring, ready to do that extra bit to make the visitor's stay as comfortable as possible. The only slightly negative aspect -- if one can call it that--to the place is the rather steep gradient one has to encounter to get there ! We had a short family holiday at the resort during mid April 2017 & look forward to having a longer one there sometime. Would certainly recommend Golden Ridge Mountain Resort to the discerning tourist who would like to relax & unwind amidst natural beauty, away from the rush & bustle of city life . We enjoyed our stay there. Excellent rooms with great views, very nice hospitality by their team. Mr.Shaju of the resort accompanied us for several activities. We enjoyed horse ride, off road drive to Munipara and enjoyed at cardamom plantations that are in the premises. He was simply superb. Highly recommended place to enjoy as family.

I visited Olive Golden Ridge for my honeymoon and I must say that it has got to be the best place I have visited in a long time.the food was high quality, and our view of the hill valley was spectacular. What really made it special though is how relaxing it isThe staff was so accommodating, the spot was gorgeous and everything was just perfect. I will definitely recommend this resort to everyone! We had a horse 🐎 ride and also a trekking which was wonderful and memorable.

Superb location and the view is amazing in the morning. But the place is an isolated area. Better to reach the location before night. Difficult to reach at night. The roads are yet to be maintained. Parking slot is small. The rooms are well maintained. Neat and clean. Can stay with family. Play area is available for children and adults. The rooms have beautiful balcony view. The hotel have a restaurent inside. Either you need to bring food from outside or use the restaurent inside. There are no nearby hotels or shops to get food or any needy things.

Very pleased view rooms with excellent staff. Management was good enough to ensure complimentary visits and sunset view from muniyara view point guided by them was eye catching. Service was excellent, pleased and impressive. Rooms are good as well. Surprise candle light dinner arranged by management was very much pleasing as well.

Cancellation of my booking.|I made a booking for 26 Jan. But Hotel deliberately asked to cancel it on the name of repair. |Agoda team knows it . |On telephonic talk they mentioned that repair is happening and therefore hotel is close. But I come to know that hotel is still working and they are thing reservations.

Stunning valley view rooms, great experience. Staff was courteous, good food, especially the dinner which was an unforgettable experience. Reaching the property was a little bit tough. Once you reach there and checked in your rooms (valley view rooms are a must to choose), then you will never regret your choice of 'Golden Ridge'. Although the activities are limited to some indoor games, cardamom plantation walk, proposed trekking, the overall experience was great! Travelled with family in April 2019.
