Very courteous staff, room charges include tea, Breakfast, lunch, hi tea with snacks, dinner. Very reasonably charged considering tey serve all meals n you don't have to go out to eat. Full veg unlimited food.Highly recommend stay here.

I stayed here for 2 nights with family. Experience was good. One of the old but well maintained hotels in Mahabaleshwar. Plus - Food - they have a thali system, and no à la carte restaurant. Food is included in room charges (Breakfast, Lunch, High-tea, Dinner). Tasty, Less spicy, homely, typical maharashtrian food. - Staff - Very courteous, helpful, friendly and smiling staff. You feel welcomed. - Location - It's at 5 mins walking distance from main Market. Minus - Hot Water Availability - it should be made available 24*7, and not limited time.

We had excellent holiday at Hotel Girivihar. Very Good location & service. Rooms were good & we had homely feeling which we liked . Food :- some observations as under. 1. The food is Veg preparation & preparation is repetitive. - Quality is Good. 2. I would enjoy even more if they serve Non-Veg . They can even give option to eat ourside. All in all , we enjoyed & would like to visit Girivihar again.

It's a wonderful heritage resort with spacious rooms and plenty of safe parking inside. Ideal place to stay with family and friends. They serve pure vegetarian food only and package includes bed tea, breakfast, lunch,hi tea and dinner. Very neat and clean ambience. It's located very close to Mahabaleshwar Central market

Though this property is very near to market, it is a very quiet place. Food was excellent. We stayed there for 2days, but every time thali, breakfast, snacks were different. All tasty. Staff is very soft spoken and polite.

Rooms are small to mid size. Each one has double bed and single bed for kids. Clean sheets and bathrooms. The location and campus is why you should book this hotel. Away from the market madding crowd. Rent includes all meals, all veg only. Good Maharashtrian meals.

We just concluded our visit to Hotel Giri Vihar, Mahabaleshwar. Had a pathetic experience. They charged premium amount for some below average food quality and no varieties at all. They served only 1 item in breakfast with no options. I can say, it's the 1st & mostly the last hotel which served Samosas for breakfast. Ambience of the dining hall was below average. For kids, they offer nothing in food. There is no manager/ person available who can take customer feedback. My family member asked for more sweets and those never arrived at our table. Very unprofessional and embarrassing experience. Will not go there again in this life time & I appeal to people to think 100 times more if you are planning to visit this hotel in Mahabaleshwar. Under the same price slab, there are many more, nice, good quality hotels available there. A completely forgettable experience...........................Sameer Kulkarni
