Club Mahindra Resort - Derby Green, Ooty, Tamil Nadu

Had a lovely stay over the weekend- the rainy and misty weather added to the charm.Despite being a heritage property which is more than 100 years old, it's remarkably well maintained. The Gardens are a flower lovers delight and I spent a whole afternoon capturing some of those beauties. Rooms are large and comfortable with basic amenities and comfort. Unfortunately a kettle in one of the 2 rooms we took, did not work but I must say the electrician tried his level best multiple times and even gave us a new one but I guess we were out of luck. I would specially like to thank the entire staff for the way they helped us in caring for our elderly parents. The buggy service was a Godsend and we don't know what we would have done without them. Thank you so much !! Before taking membership we had seen many negative reviews,but our first experience was very positive - only problem is the availability and we could see that the resort had full bookings everyday. All the best to the Derby Green team. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for the warm stay CM Derby green, The food, hospitality, stay were very convenient.Special mention for service by Sheila from house keeping. Danny helped us with check out and Amazing entertainment from Justin! He conducted interesting and fun filled games. Thank u for making the stay very memorable for us. The gardening and happy hub team were also great.

Rooms are well maintained and good. Everyone is very hospitable and happy to help always! Location is very good too. Only concern is about the food. Breakfast was very good, however dinner had very less dishes to choose from in non veg. As someone who doesn’t eat mutton or sea fish and only chicken, I felt they can do more on the dinner buffet. Otherwise it was a good stay!

Very good experience at the spa. The different available options and the overall experience was outstanding. Ambience and environment was serene. Will remember the tasty kaava served before and after the spa . Little bit on the expensive side but well worth it …

At the centre of the town, great accessibility, the resort isn't as big as other typical CM resorts. Very good food and service. The place just overlooks the race course. It has a nice play area for kids as well as older children. In about 1-1.5km one can access the commercial road by walk which is the market place

The rooms are spacious and clean. All the staff is very courteous and polite. Special thanks to Praveen and Banu who were very understanding and accommodating. The resort is located close to the city centre and can easily access almost all tourist attractions.

Best welcome. Polite and friendly staff.Neat maintenance. Ample parking space. Very close to town. Food was also good.So all in all it was a heart-warming and satisfying trip. If the accommodation and food are properly arranged then the trip will be very pleasant. The pleasant cool weather is also a reason why the trip is pleasant

Not worth the hype. Our rooms were at the far end of the resort. A relaxing trip ended up like an exerting walk/climb every time we had to go to the restaurant or happy hub with 4 flights of stairs on our way. It was raining too. I love the rain but to be walking damp in the rain to eat every meal was a miserable experience . I came to relax, not to do steps.
