We were 5 families visited in November 2024 . About the property its very nice and in the dense forest, has a lot of green open area, last 1KM from Pandey Maggi point to the resort is full off road and its really an adventures trail , your 2x2 with low ground clearance is not suitable here . only 4x4 with high ground clearance can make it to the resort.||1 Pros: Property is really beautiful , a lot of open space , the Bamboo tree roads in side the resort is amazing for capturing photos and videos.||Many Cons: Poorly maintained , pathetic service in the restaurant , they cant manage the load of just 5 to 6 families having breakfast at same time , same at the dinner time. The time slot of dinner is start around 9pm and closed by 10.30pm ( pathetic) same is the time of breakfast in the morning . Staff is not helpful , waiting time is too high for any thing you order , Food is below average , Tea is really pathetic and served cold . golf carts turns into junkyard and they have only one Gypsy which will take you to the restaurant . The reason this property entice you is its location and open space , i bet once you visit you never want to re visit because of the very poor services . The location is a bit far , its on the sitabani road and around 25KM far from the Kosi river Barrage . Room charges are also on higher side they give you a day package including breakfast , lunch and dinner and you will really disappoint when you see what is being served in the breakfast , lunch and dinner ( with very limited option ) , you can image they dont serve "Paranthas" which is a staple diet for any north indian.

Ranger Reserve: A Complete Nightmare – Avoid at All Costs If you’re planning to stay at Ranger Reserve, "avoid" is an understatement — this place is a disaster. While the location and property have potential, it’s clear they’ve been neglected for over a decade. The service is pathetic, and the prices are ridiculously high for what you actually get. We booked through Sunday but are checking out early because of the terrible service. The food is awful, and even simple requests like milk or tea take over an hour — and you have to go get it yourself from the kitchen. After 5:30 PM, there is no one at the reception, and the phone lines for housekeeping or the restaurant are closed. If you need anything, you're completely on your own. The café is closed, leaving you with no options for food or drinks. If you’re coming with kids, this place is not just disappointing — it’s a hazard. You’ll find much better options elsewhere. Ranger Reserve fails on every level and is not worth your time or money

Rangers Rivers is a small bit beautiful resort which is isolated from main road and thus is very peaceful and away from any noise and brings you with nature.|Its in overall Ramnagar Corbett area across Kosi river. Driving to rseort is very beautiful amiongst lush green forests on both sides with very less traffic and also borders one Corbett safari area along way||Its 1.5 km from main road and this 1.5 is totally adventours type drive as its only mud and stones and very narrow path called a road, if it was.|Suggested to park vehicle on mail road, one staff helps at Rs 100 per night and then take the Gypsy provided by resort for to & fro complimentary pick and drop from that point.||Resort is very lush green and many varieties of trees plants. Its surrounded by lush green forests from all side and one dry river borders it. It may be filled in rainy season.|Rooms are nice and good and with big verandah where you can even lie down and watch nature.||They serve food here (no other choices), its a good mix of different items though not very rich collection. I didnt like the food and service.||But overall i will recommend one day of total peaceful stay amongst beautiful landsacpe and wide views of lush green hills and forests.

After my stay in this resort I can say that it is not one of the worst resort to stay but it is THE WORST resort for a holiday. You wont get any edible food , the tasteless and inedible food would also be served to you after hours of delay and multiple requests. There is no qualified to cook in the so called 4 start resort. They had to drag someone to make tea and some tasteless oily snacks for tea and served us tea at 7 pm. They served us lunch at 2:30 that too after requesting multiple times and their was no staff available apart from ine housekeeping persin to serve 8 gusts in a shot. The non spicy food prepared for kids was so worthless and inedible that our kids prepared plain roti instead of the sabzi and dal they cooked for the kids. We booked our resort for 2 days but will hope that they let us leave after day one since we will be forced to eat the waste food they are serving. There is no manager no staff nobody to listen to and nobody to help you even if you will request for certain things like milk for kids or tea etc. My suggestion would be to stay home and eat healthy instead of paying a hefty resort bill with no service no basic amenities like food and electricity. I wish there was an option to give a zero or negative rating because i would not have hesitated to give it to them. We came here for my husband birthday celebration for which they promised a cake but leave aside cake they failed to give us edible food. Pls refrain from booking this resort!!!!!

Let me tell you the truth about this resort We visited this resort from 8-10th November . First of all there is no accessible road to the resort and the only way u can reach is through their pathetic gypsy which is not well maintained. Not advisable at all for pregnant woman, kids and elderly. 2. The resort is huge but very poorly maintained . 3. Breakfast, lunch and dinner spread is very poorly and with no service at all . 4. The resort is huge but with limited staff and hence poorly maintained 5. The pool is dirty like hell , u can’t even see the floor of the room 6. Room to restaurant is some distance but they don’t provide any means of transport despite promising 7. Rooms are dirty with unclean and stained bedsheets and pillow covers Overall worst experience and would never recommend to anyone

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rangers Reserve, Ramnagar with my friends and I must say it was a delightful experience. The location of the hotel was simply perfect, nestled in a serene part of the city that provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to all major attractions. The hospitality of the staff members was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. The food at the hotel was another highlight of our stay. Each meal was a culinary delight, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. We particularly enjoyed the opportunity to have dinner outside our room, which added a special touch to our dining experience.

This is a resort in the lap of nature and designed very thoughfully. Infrastructure is really good. However, the food, which is mandatory because of having no other option, is average and the services are kind of bad. Every now and then the food items get unavailable and also they will not refill in time. Also not having a lot of options. It maybe because no responsible person is available there to monitor these things. Also, the last mile path leading to this resort is really in bad condition where you can't take your own vehicle. Apart from that, I would still recommend to visit this place, as it is one of kind which you will rarely find in india having scenic beauty and in the heart of forest.
