The location of this hotel in Qufu is at the end of the street near to Confucius Temple, Mansion and Cemetary, the last being quite far away and a long way to walk. ||||Upon arrival at the hotel I was surprised that the hotel looks like a private mansion and no wonder because the authorities have limited the height of buildings in this ancient city. The lounge area and the reception counter look homely and as soon as I passed on Agoda voucher, I was checked into the hotel at the 2nd level. A single room with a large bed and a window, it looks clean and comfortable. There is a big bathroom. However, the sun-heater for hot water was turned off at that moment for recharging. Later on, taking my bath, the hot water gushed out warm and clean water for a good wash up in this cold start of Spring!||That night, I had a wonderful sleep in this homely hotel. The boss was a friendly chap. He appears to be an user of modern technology. Besides his sun-heater, he has an electric car which he drove me to the railway station to buy a ticket to Qingdao. Such is the warm hospitality of an homely hotel boss.||||Early next morning, I walked to Confucius Mansion and then to the Temple and finally took the trishaw to the Cemetary. All that within half-a-day with the other half exploring the town. A lot of eateries are within walking distance and massage parlours at cheaper rates abound.
