Aviator Hotel Anchorage

The Aviator Hotel is convenient to the train station…5-7 minute walk. The rooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Checking in was a breeze and the staff was very helpful. The rooms had many outlets and comfortable seating. The bed was very comfortable. Great place to stay and when it is completely renovated it will have a brewery, restaurant and a viewing platform!

This renovated hotel is beautiful. We stayed the weekend for the Ceremonial start of the Iditarod, it’s the perfect location for it! You can watch the dogs from your hotel room. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Aviator Hotel Anchorage! Each employer of that hotel were always willing to assist. Rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. The hotel is close to major sites in Anchorage!

Beautifully renovated room with a very comfortable bed and linens, and many thoughtful amenities like good storage options, a motion-sensing night light in the bathrooms, comfy robes, several different dimmable lights, a fridge, a coffee/expresso machine, many charging outlets, and more. Loved the new decor. Convenient location walkable to many businesses and attractions such as the museum and train station. Beware the walk from the train station is up a large hill and includes many stairs, so I regret doing that walk with luggage and would recommend a taxi/rideshare. Downhill would not be so bad. Staff here were all super friendly and helpful. Elevator was not available in late Feb. 2025 due to the construction and one flight of stairs was required to get to room. I did not experience any noise or disruptions from renovations but your mileage may vary. There was no breakfast but there is a coffee shop next to the front desk and some convenient breakfast spots within close walking distance. I would definitely stay here again because I loved the room and everything was clean and fresh.

I was attending a conference at Anchorage in December, so I selected the Aviator Hotel Anchorage because I can't find any room at the Hilton or Marriot hotels. I have been to many hotels. By far, this hotel is very clean, and the staffs are very friendly. The pillows are the best and the hotel room has everything that I needed. It would be good if a swimming pool and gym will be added for this hotel in the future.

Renovation and development are currently in progress. What is available is very nice. The look is modern rustic; very nice! My singular issue is no bathroom counter. The chair in the room is a deal maker! It's in the heart of downtown, so you walk to anywhere. I plan on staying here during my next visit

The rooms are beautiful, so tastefully decorated and modern, very cool style . There are lots of great restaurants and bars within walking distance, the mall is a two minute walk away, lots of good shopping and sightseeing !!

This hotel from the outside looks quite unusual, a very long building, but the minute to entry no, this is a good place. Staff is amazing, rooms are very well appointed, and there is a good sound insulation. I enjoyed my stay.
