Pretty much on par for a Comfort Inn. Cheap and you can tell that it is. Outdated furnishings and fixtures. The shower curtain was too short and the shower mixing valve was piped backwards (H= Cold and C=Hot). Breakfast was acceptable, short staffed though so everything took awhile to get refilled. Seemed clean enough and the staff was friendly. Comfortable beds and the room seemed very clean. If I get stuck in town because of a canceled flight I might stay again.

This hotel is in a great location. Period. End of story on the positive, with the exception of Scott & Chico (at the front desk). They were so personable and kind. The others...not so much. They seemed put out & bothered when we asked a question. For what we paid here, we could have stayed at the Marriott. However, we chose here because of the location to the train station and the creek. Issues: room smelled like smoke, we took our shoes off and the carpet was damp and the bottoms of our socks turned black from the carpet, there was an inch (minimum) of dust on the charging station, the laundry room reeked of an awful smell (we had to the leave the door open to the hallway from the laundry room because it smelled so bad), but the most concerning: the interior door to the van was broken. If you were not in the front seat (driver & passenger) you couldn't get out. The van drivers said it had been broken for some time. So in other words. . .they were aware of it and did nothing to fix it. If there had been an accident, there was no way you could open the sliding door to get out without someone opening it from the outside. Talk about a HUGE safety concern. We did bring this to the attention of the "home office". They were so kind to give us "courtesy points" which equaled one night's stay elsewhere. They told me that "most properties were around 8,000 points". They are if you stay out in the middle of nowhere in a ghetto/remote area. If you stay in a "decent" city/area, you start out with about 25,000 points. I am super disappointed. We had enough Marriott points to stay there for at least 4 of our 5 nights, but chose this hotel for a few reasons: the pictures on the website (yes I know they put the "better" photos there for sales reasons) and proximity to the train station/creek. I will know better next time, especially for the price we paid for 5 nights.

Stayed the evening of 5/20/2023. Please double check your reservations by calling the front desk beforehand as this used to be a Comfort Inn and has very very recently been bought by Wyndham, (especially if you've made a reservation with a 3rd party). The room was very dated, somehow there was a jacuzzi tub by the bed. There was no shower curtain in the shower. Also there was only one trash can right by the toilet! The check-in process was painful due to new management. If you are a light sleeper, the train runs all night and you will hear it!!! Breakfast is from 6a-9a, they ran out of food by 6:05am! There was no coffee left, and it was crowded!!!

It was ok. The good: Rooms were comfortable and spacious. My room (318) had a view of the river which my husband really liked. Rooms all have fridges and microwaves. There is a (small) pool which was heated to a decent temp. There is a guest laundry, $2 wash and $2 dry. You do get a breakfast but it's sparse. They also were able to help me with an emergency where I had to send a fax. That was very nice. Location decent, but if cold, it's a bit far to walk to any restaurants. You'd be better off at a hotel more in downtown if that is your goal. This is very close to the train station, trains do make noise but not bad and not in the middle of the night. The not so good: Rooms not cleaned daily, or ever during your stay. So we finally figured out we have to set dirty towels outside the room, and our full wastebaskets. You have to ask for more towels, toilet paper etc as you need it. Breakfast is included but it's way less options than most Choice hotels would offer.

This place has a decent location and an ok breakfast. Unfortunately, the rooms are filthy, staff weren’t helpful, and the pool is so cold it’s not useable. The lady that ran the breakfast was awesome and did an excellent job - she’s the whole reason for 3 stars. Service would have also been a 1 without her. Not really the hotels issue but our truck alarm went off multiple times while staying during our 2 night stay. The area didn’t look sketchy but someone was definitely checking vehicles doors there.

Absolutely horrible experience. I booked the room through the Choice website. Received my confirmation and another email about by upcoming stay. Arrive at the hotel at 9:30 pm after getting off a flight and they canceled my reservation because they are no longer a Comfort Inn hotel according to the front desk. There were about 8 others that arrived on the hotel shuttle with me that had the same issue. The rooms were available, we just had ours canceled with zero notification for some reason. Then they wanted to charge almost $150 more than what I booked the room for. They finally ended up charging me $313 when it was supposed to be $258. At that point I just need to get some sleep and was truly stuck with no option so I paid it. Why Choice is still booking hotels for this property is beyond me but this is bordering on fraud.

I was absolutely amazed at how fantastic the stay was... until i checked out! I was charged almost 3x my rental fee for alleged "damages". No itemized receipt of the damages, no pictures of damages, and the managers are refusing to even explain what the so called "damages" even are. I have called for the manger 3 days in a row and have been essentially blown off everyday. I have contacted cooperate in regards to this scam and am still waiting for resolution. Loved the hotel... however i absolutely do not recommend staying here until they resolve their money scheme.

The staff were amazing, especially Natisha! She truly went out of her way to ensure all the small details were taken care of- warming butter at breakfast & giving us a ride to the train station. Room was clean and comfortable, great location. All staff were very helpful with local recommendations.
