Home2 Suites by Hilton Anchorage/Midtown

I travelled to Anchorage with a group on August 2024; all rooms had been totally prepaid, and no other service was added to our stay. Anyway, a few days after my check-out I realized that my card had been charged for more than 300 USD, with no reason at all. No way to have any explanation about this. Till now, despite of my many requests, no refund has been made. I liked the hotel, but this should never happen; even in case of a mistake, they have to make a refund for any undue charge. To me, this is a 1⭐️. UPDATE: soon after my review, I was contacted by the property, and my problem was solved. I appreciate it a lot. This is worth a 5 stars ⭐️

Close to the airport. Free parking. Free breakfast in the morning with nuts and waffles. Gym was decent. The pool was crowded. Rooms were clean and spacious. I would stay there again because of the location. It was easy to drive to different places. There are not too many places to walk around to.

Positive: The room was very nice and better than I expected. We stayed there a year ago or more and we really liked it. Negative: The coffee maker was not turning on I kept forgetting to tell the front desk

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They need a larger selection of products in their little market. It's these two, tall, clear door refrigerators and one little stand alone shelf for dry good snacks. The king suite that we're staying in, has pocket doors for the toilet/bathroom area and they don't close properly or even lock. The couch in our room needs to be replaced, because it looks like a cat used as a scratching post at some point. Overall the room just needs some TLC/Maintenance. The bed needs to be replaced as well, it's too low to the ground and has very poor support, including replacing the sheets, comforter and pillows. The thermostat needs to be replaced also. One of the strangest things about this room, is actually the distance between the toilet and the toilet paper roll holder. It's almost as if they intended to put in a double sink and then at the last minute, put in a single one that is awkwardly far from the toilet... A silly inconvenience that you just, kind of have to laugh at.

Very nice! Staff very professional and accommodating. The view of mountains was gorgeous. Everything very clean. My grandsons really enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was great! All day coffee and tea available during the cold was a welcome treat. Thanks 😊 All!

The service people are very nice and helpful. They offer breakfast and coffee/fruit in the lobby. Unfortunately when I enter my room, it smelled bad and musty. They offered to change the room, but after a very long day, I did not feel like moving again. I recommended to wash the carpet and replace the dirty couch.

We felt welcomed the whole time that we stayed. The 2 young ladies that worked the night shift were very kind. They listened to us and were very accommodating. || ||The breakfast was the cleanest experience we’ve ever had. The server maintained cleanliness in the area and made sure fresh food was available.|| || The maintenance and housekeepers spoke and smiled every time we saw them.|| ||We thank you all for the pleasant experience and we can’t wait to return.

Great experience, will be back! After a very stressful and scary evening at another hotel, we were accommodated above and beyond by this hotel to get a room to stay in. I wish I had the front desk woman's name because she was an absolute delight and made our evening much better after what we had gone through at 2 AM. We regularly stay at Hilton Hotels and always have great experiences, and this was no different. The rooms are nice, the service and staff are great, and the location is convenient. Thank you!
