Qupqugiaq Inn

I will not be going back here and so I can't recommend anybody else stay here unless you just can't afford anything better. The first thing you notice when you walk.in is the stench. I'm not sure if it's just old or mildew or what. It's not pleasant. The rooms are not appealing. The sheets were dirty and the beds half-made. The electrical outlet was so loose it would barely work. The bathroom is gross.

Love this place! Affordable weekly rates, right across from my favorite food spot Mekong Market! (Hot Samoan food and Asian groceries) I’ve been staying here off and on for almost 3 years. Jon is Awesome and does a great job running this place. Very close to Bus 85 & 35 routes. In fair walking distance to a lot of places. Great Midtown location!

Room was very clean with a fresh towel and washcloth on the bed. Security and cleaning guy was extremely helpful and polite. I was in between apartments and was asked if I wanted to work Security on the weekends in exchange for a room (sleeping pod) I accepted. The first two nights was four hours each for training purposes, and on my own the following weekend. Friday came around and I asked Michelle (nastiest person I know) if Tomorrow was a go to start on my own, she immediately jumped down my throat and said NO, as I forgot to put you on the schedule. She stated that she would not be back to work till Wednesday, I would have to wait till she returned to work. I never received payment for the hours I worked, and paid my own money the days I stayed there. Friend of mine stated I should contact the B.B.B and file a report because she knows Michelle and says she goes into people's rooms and take things while they are not there. I would agree.

Clean and quaint older Inn. Really nice rooms. Interesting artwork & details throughout building. Everything works and is good quality, unlike all the expensive rundown foreign-owned hotels in lower49.

Great place! Very convenient center of town location. Nice and quiet at night. Big Screen TV. Cool round shower.

Needed a place to stay on a budget very last minute and came across this place. The staff was friendly and helpful. Stayed in a room with a double bed and shared bathroom. Obviously this place is one of the cheapest in town so you’re going to get what you pay for. Although I will say it is very unique and charming, the room was kind of dingy and definitely not the cleanest. Ended up finding that a mouse was living in our room and eating food we had in there and leaving droppings behind… The shared bathrooms weren’t horrible but also not immaculately clean or anything. All this to say it’s not the absolute worst place to stay if you’re looking for a place on a budget and are okay with it being very basic, but it’s also not the nicest either. Overall it was fine for two nights but I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless I had to.

Stayed in a single room with a private bathroom. It was great. Hot water, working heater, nice window I could open, clean sheets and towels, comfortable pillows, quiet.

The very strong smell in the corridors, the totally outdated exterior, I am not sure where to start. This is a "never come back" hotel. Only reason I still give it a 3 is due to the nice bed and pillows. No breakfast and non existent customer service
