Motel 6 San Diego, CA - Downtown

Excellent location and very friendly hotel staff! They held my bag at the desk and were attentive to my needs. The room was very stuffy and didn't have much adequate lighting. I wasn't in it much, though. Overall a pleasant experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting San Diego!

I recently went to san diego and unfortunately i could not find a room i eneded up here, they did not have rooms available for my accommodation, However the front desk manager I believe his name is david s. Im sorry if i didn't get it right. He was amazing he helped me look for hotels that could accommodate me and over all has amazing customer service. When i do go back i will definitely tey and book with this hotel. Thank you so much FDM yur amazing.

The room was disgusting. The electric outlet was extremely burnt. This room was bad Not just because it was old because it was horribly dirty. Floors smeared with grime and dirt and hair.shower had a lot of hair. Towels has cut/shaved hair stuck in them , the bed was questionable slept in my clothes ... good building, good location, ok room , horribly dirty.

I just left a review, and misspelled Lelani's name. She worked late afternoon and she is an amazing staff member and was extremely helpful. She made my check in effortless and I thank her and the property.

My mother is in the hospital passing and the staff here has been great downtown San Diego really helped my wife. Latoya is really good at what she does and made sure my wife and my family were comfortable. Stephanie was amazing. Making sure we could find a room for my wife and family. And then David was a breath of fresh air. He made sure that the room had all the accommodations needed, and my wife was greatly appreciative. Latoya had a problem with one of the people coming in. She handled herself very professional not sure how she did it. my wife said she could’ve never did it however she did it and I recommend this place The staff is probably the best I have ever seen at what they do I would ask for Latoya or David or Stephanie when you come in they will treat you like family. I am also a disabled individual and In Latoya made sure my parking was accommodated.

The rooms where affordable and the staff was attentive. The front desk manager in particular is very helpful and extremely professional. I appreciate that she goes above and beyond for maintaining vigilance over the property making sure no random people come in making me feel secure and safe. If you need anything Latoya is great along with the rest of the staff here. Can't wait to book my next trip here.

Dirty room No towels Dirt in all corners Broken window Window screen with holes People throwing rocks at window Melted spoon marks all over bathtub from drug use Smelly pillows Broken bathroom light Grimey feeling on hands after touching door handles or appliances Says manager on duty is YOLI TERRAZAS but she was not on sight. Front desk manager said he couldn’t do anything Also others in line waiting to makes similar complaints.

I like getting away from daily life and travel for school and work. Motel 6 in downtown is a great Motel located close to many attractions. The remodeled room are great. You get the feeling of staying at a high end hotel and I love watching movies on the big screen TVs they offer with HD picture. Usually David checks me in and he does his job well. Also Gredia offers friendly and professional customer service in the mornings when coffee is available!
