Hotel Zindel

My husband and I stayed here and it was absolutely perfect! The close proximity to all of the restaurants in Little Italy and the water is very convenient! The hotel is clean and the decor is elegant! The team of people were very responsive as well. We loved the keyless entry. The patio with the fire pits was romantic and the coffee bar in our room and the main area were very nice to have! We definitely recommend choosing this for your stay in San Diego. We loved our stay at Hotel Zindel! The proximity to so many great restaurants and attractions is phenomenal. The rooms have all the modern amenities we could want and the keyless access is convenient. The decor and lighting was a great touch too. We never felt the need for a receptionist and were able to coordinate room cleanings via text while we were out of the room. The rates seem very fair and we will definitely come back.

I liked going to balboa park from this hotel but it's noisy: you hear the neighbors and the street a lot. I didn't like so much the A/C too, nor the duvet. Thanks for the snacks in the morning. One neighbor 's lock failed during my stay it was a noisy alarm ringing or 2 hours. Communication can be much more reliable

Great room. My only issue was the parking, no where in there disclosure is no parking. I had to pay $100 for 1 day to park in a lot and hopefully find street parking close to the hotel. Also, absolutely no housekeeping I stayed 5 nights and accidentally spilled coffee on the edge of the bed and was handed a new set of sheets??? I had to put them on myself! If I'm staying more than 2 days housekeeping should be automatic. I mean who uses the same towel 5 days in a row? And I had tobask for more toilet paper.

The rooms were small and for the price they are asking, it is not worth it. Touches, people less means no one to complain to about noise. You can hear everyone and their mothers talthe hallway. The location is terrible, not even a space to unload or load luggage as they have no parking whatsoever. Nearest parking lot is 2 blocks away and max 6 hrs at a time which means you have to wake up every 6 hrs to reload and pay parking online.

unique and different experience however everything looked very nice, I enjoyed playing pool and making coffee in the recreational room. I only wish that there was a receptionist to talk to us on how checking out works. We did everything through the phone and it did not feel right. Other than that, my wife and I had a good time at Hotel Zindel and I wouldn't mind coming back.

Pros: The hotel is clean and comfortable. It's in a great location for nightlife and good restaurants. Little Italy is fun and lovely. ||Cons: check in is it 4:00 p.m. That's a little late but not really that bad.. however, check out is at 10:00 a.m. and they will come and knock on your door at 9:30 in the morning on New Year's Day. That's unreasonably early in my book.

I loved the room, it was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I had my own bathroom and kitchen area. It was very easy to get in and out of the room With the codes. The staff responded right away if I needed anything/. The decor was very cute. It had a fridge and a microwave and a coffee machine. I slept very well! Its walking distance to little Italy and I walked there for dinner and breakfast the next morning.
