Rooms are very dated. Had no a/c, called to front desk and they did send someone from maintenance. We left for 1 1/2 hours to let it cool down and upon returning it was still quite hot in the room. Another call to the front desk had me asking to switch rooms. Second room was no cooler. Air was definitely working in the hallways as they were freezing after stepping out from our room. The only good thing was that we kept busy all day so by time we headed back to the room it was cooling off outside and we were ready for bed. The location was the BEST thing about this hotel. Would I stay here again? Not for the price ..

First: the service from Lorenzo and the rest of the staff was A+ The property and rooms are incredibly dated. The water pressure and temperature can only be described as unacceptable. When paying $300+/night for a room; the hot water should be blasting for as long as I want it. The beds are pretty comfy but the room layouts are very odd. Not sure who stays here and I couldn’t recommend it.

The location of the hotel is exceptional. However that seems to be the only good thing. The vents were severely dusty. When we came back to the hotel our stuff were covered in dust. There are no slippers, no toiletries etc. The mini bar is empty and there is no complimentary water in your room. The bottle of water is 20$. Good luck with that. Also the room was super cold even when we set the AC to 83F the whole time. Oh also the front desk was super annoying, everyone was always frowning, no friendliness what so ever. The only good customer service was the cleaning team and the luggage team. The internet was also super slow.

Really loved this hotel! It was an awesome location and we were upgraded to a bayside view due to a cigarette smell in our first room (great customer service). Rooms are average but nice. Walking distance to Downtown San Diego which was awesome. It is also a pet friendly hotel and our pup enjoyed the stay and all the attention from other guest. Thank you for providing a safe space while we evacuated from the LA Fires.

I praise on simplicity and this hotel was just this. The location is perfect, the city on one side and the water on the other. Lots of small places to eat and walk for sight seeing. The room was comfortable, the bed was soft and we loved the pillows. The hotel was a little old but looked remodeled really well. The noise of the city was a bit loud but a wonderful wake up call to start the day. Check in and out was easy. I would definetly plan on returning.

It is a hotel that is not well maintained, a terrible value and tries to stick it to customers at every chance. The first two rooms they gave me had a terrible noise problem from the HVAC system at the roof that was vibrating the whole 4-5 top floors of the building. The third room they changed to had water leaking and dripping from the bathroom ceiling but I was tired and just accepted it after 2 hours of moving between rooms trying to check-in. A bottle of water is $10 in the room, parking is $60, etc. where the prices are like Ritz but the actual hotel rooms are like Motel 6. Overall a sad old hotel that is in a decent location but a terrible value to stay at. Much better choices in the neighborhood, so be wiser and choose another hotel

My stay at the Wyndham Bayside was underwhelming. The room was very basic with standard amenities like a mini fridge, coffee maker, and a safe—though mine didn’t work. The electrical outlets were loose, making them difficult (and unsafe) to use. I was on the second floor with a small balcony, but it faced a parking garage, which meant zero privacy. I had to keep the blinds shut at all times unless I wanted to put on a show. The worst part of my stay was finding a cockroach in my bathroom on my last day—absolutely disgusting. To make matters worse, I had no hot water. On a positive note, the hotel’s location is fantastic, within walking distance to great restaurants and attractions. The staff was friendly and pleasant to interact with. Unfortunately, the room quality and cleanliness issues overshadowed the good aspects. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel is well place where you can enjoy the city's skyline and the bay's energy. Coming from the airport, you can appreciate the city's skyline. The lights outlining the buildings make you appreciate the size of the city. In front of the hotel, you have a selection of restaurant to chose from and enjoy the energy of the bay. One final thought not mentioned anywhere, it is one of few hotels with a shuttle to the airport.
