NillIf I explained every positive thing that was involved in the trip, I don’t think it would let me post. Phenomenal staff, amazing service, smiling faces, helpful in anyway possible. Amenities are great, for the age of the hotel. Honestly seem better than the hotels around. But, quickly the house staff were the best. The servers, bartenders, cleaners, and technology were always around and would sprint at the opportunity to help us out in any way! Bittersweet day leaving this hotel!

★★★★★I recently stayed at the Westgate. I recommend staying there wholeheartedly. The rooms are lovely. The amenities, including afternoon tea and the restaurant, are worth a visit in and of themselves. But the real highlight of this hotel is its staff. Sarah C., in particular, went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that the stay was a smooth one; she is helpful, efficient, professional, and kind. Another highlight was the attentive restaurant staff, including our waiter who provided excellent service at weekday breakfast. A big thank you to everyone at the Westgate, I hope to be able to return again soon.

★★★★★Every time we travel to San Diego, California, we choose to stay at The Westgate Hotel because of the beautiful French architecture and ambiance. Everything is so magical from the moment we stepped in to the hotel lobby, the restaurant, the rooms. The food is delicious. The beds are super comfortable and the pillows are the fluffiest I have ever felt, in addition, the rooms are very clean. I highly recommend the Afternoon Tea at the Westgate Hotel in the magical lobby listening to the artist playing the harp live. The staff always goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make our stay an unforgettable experience. We would like to acknowledge the following staff members who made a great impact during our visit they are Sarah C, Sonny, Ivan, Mikey, Rahul, Keanna, David, Lucas, Annamarie, Gabriel and Brandon. We have many hotel options to choose from when staying in San Diego but the genuine attention from staff such as those mentioned above keep us loyal guests. |Thank you!

NillThis was one of the best experiences I have had in San Diego. What made this stay amazing was not only the amazing Aquavie but the service we had from Sarah C. Sarah truly went above and beyond to make sure we are enjoying every second at the Westgate. Alexis at the pool was nice too. We definitely will come back. Thank you Sarah

NillStayed in one of the suites the night of our wedding. The hotel is beautiful, our room was immaculate and we absolutely loved our bathroom with a great tub and shower! They were very great with communication whenever I had questions and as we were leaving they had a harp player playing in the lobby! Highly recommend if you want somewhere nice to stay

NillWe had a great stay with our young children. Staff were super helpful and accommodating throughout the hotel. The pool and hot tub are nice and we enjoyed the rooftop fire pits. Great location on Broadway. We’d definitely stay here again.

NillBeautiful hotel, well decorated for the holidays. Older hotel but great ambiance and owns the vintage feel. Offers spectacular gym access in the building across, huge gym. Night time front desk staff could use some warmer hospitality skills but morning staff is great. Large rooms and bathrooms. Cozy pillows. I would definitely stay here again

NillThe location is perfect for riding the tram or bus to the cruise terminal. The hotel beds are very comfortable. Our room on the 16th floor was extremely quiet. The food in the dining room is top of the best, especially the ricotta pancakes. The front desk is staffed by professional and helpful people, especially David and Sarah. The decor is exquisite French. There was a harp player in the large lobby that is a very pleasant way to arrive after a long flight. Everything is luxury here.
