Great value in an excellent location. Nice complimentary breakfast with many options. Rooms have fridges and microwaves. Convenience items such as snacks, toiletries, etc. are available for purchase 24 hours. Courteous staff. Expensive parking. People letting the doors slam in the morning was annoying. Sometimes it gets noisy outside. Nice b hole wall art at the 3rd floor elevator

Cannot recommend this enough! As a solo female traveler I felt safe the entire time, and the hotel staff were lovely. Small but still good free breakfast. Room comes with a fridge and a microwave which was a nice touch. The bathroom sink is detached from the rest room, but it's not a big deal at all. If you're a solo traveler looking for a good hotel while on a budget, this is the place! Will definitely be back.

I like this place. Heart of downtown. Clean room with comfortable bed and good pillows. Good flat screen. And the waffle breakfast was top notch with a variety of food 🥑. The staff are very helpful and friendly. But the best is the smell. It is not bad. Most hotels I can afford smell bad. That's the first thing I notice and the thing mast remembered. It is not an issue here. Highly recommended

I'll get the "weird" part out of the way right up front: Other reviews mentioned the sink next to the bed and that's unusual but wasn't an issue for me or my spouse. If the bathroom had been expanded to include the sink then the sleeping/sitting area would have been pretty small so I preferred this layout. All other parts of our stay were good: friendly staff, clean room and public spaces, nice inner courtyard, good hot breakfast, a really convenient location and adjacent parking. $50 seemed rather steep for parking but nearby lots were $45-$80. The window AC was a bit loud but provided "pink noise" to cover up the outside traffic sounds.

Great staff…. That’s number 1 for me. Every staff member we ran into had great customer service everyone was super friendly. The hotel is older (no surprise) and not quite as nice as others but the staff made up for any short falls. The location worked really well for the convention center as it was a short 10 minute walk.

I stayed at the hotel during a conference in October 2024. The hotel was around a 15 minute walk from the convention centre. There were homeless people around but they weren't troublesome and I felt safe walking to and from the Convention Centre, and even heading out in an evening on my own to get dinner in the Gaslamp Quarter. The area is busy, there are lots of restaurants and bars so I didn't feel isolated. ||The hotel always had someone helpful and polite on reception. There was coffee, water and fruit always available in reception too. The staff were happy to store your luggage before check in and after check out. They can call you a cab to the airport. However, there is a bus stop around 3 blocks away which can take you to the airport at a fraction of the cost. There is a nice reception room with chairs and a little courtyard to sit out if you wanted. There are no wc's in the reception area though.||The room I had did not have a great view, but I wasn't bothered. The bed was comfortable, there was always hot water for showers, the room was small but not poky, it was clean, there were toiletries provided.||There were some noise issues. The hotel is not far from the Gaslamp Quarter. You could hear cars and people outside. The other noise was from the water system when people in the next room were showering. This in particular could be quite loud, and a bit distracting, if you are on conference calls, or needing quiet time. ||There was a breakfast every morning, with eggs, sausages, pancakes, toast, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, muffins, bagels, juice and coffee. I knew there would be breakfast, but thought it would be minimal. I was pleasantly surprised that there were some hot options available.||Overall, I was quite happy to stay here, and I would choose to stay here again for a good value and convenient choice for the gaslamp district and convention centre.

Everything was great! Desk staff was helpful. Breakfast was fantastic-they had bev, breads,pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage and fruit. They are close to the ballpark as it took about 10 minutes to get there. There is many restaurants and stores all around it. Go to the right of the hotel, next block, right and half way down is a Excellent store-deli. They had airport shuttle but not anymore

Great location within walking distanceto a lot of things. This location had excellent staff with great customer service. We did have an issue with one thing in the room but it was rectified later on. Note, this can be a noisy room if you are streetside. Bring your earplugs.
