My wife and I really enjoyed a three-night stay at this real gem of a hotel. The rooms are spacious and have allt he conveniences and the very extensive grounds are very clean and well-maintained. ||A real surprise, however, was the fact that their main swimming pool is possibly the warmest you will ever experience; for Valentine’s Day I think the pool temperature was probably about 82 degrees, which was real joy during the cool evening. The adjacent jacuzzi was equally impressive, not just for its warmth but multiple layers (upper body and lower body) of jets.||The location of this facility, near the eastern end of Hotel Circle Drive, is ideal. You leave the grounds, enter eastbound Interstate 8 and almost immediately can be going south down Route 163 to Balboa Park, or north up Route 163 to Mission Valley Mall with lots of shops and a great food court and nearby impressive Civita Park (terraced gardens impressively overlooking the San Diego area) .||The staff here are very friendly and professional. This very large resort is in very high demand each year around college graduation weekends.||Try a mid-week or off-season stay here and you will really come to enjoy this wonderful hotel.

I wish I could give this best western a 0, but that's not an option. One of the issues was parking for just 1 car was a nightmare. Work trucks were taking up a large percentage of the parking. I would come back to the hotel at maybe 8, and have to park far away. STEVE GENNEROS response to me was "I am not responsible for there being parking available for our guests". I had stayed here 3 years ago, and wasn't at all happy then. The information for the hotel said it had been recently renovated, so i gave it another shot. For those considering staying here, just know parking, warm showers, a clean room, fresh towels, fresh glasses, a working fridge, and a microwave are near impossible. Also, if you choose to speak to a manager, STEVE GENNARO, know he may mock you, let you know your concerns are no concerns to him. I have a disability and struggle walking. Our last night my 22 year old daughter came down with 102 degree fever. The only blanket was crazy thin, and provided no warmth. The heater in the room was broken, gave off a strong toxic smell. I asked the front desk for a blanket, they told me that there was one on the bed and otherwise they couldn't help me. The blanket on the bed was paper thin, with a sheet below and above. Again, the manager did not care. I talked to the manager just hoping for maybe a kind word, maybe even an apology. He asked me what he could do, I told him maybe a discount on the room. During mid conversation, he told me the only thing he can do is give me a discount. I declined, cause what I genuinely wanted was for him to at least care about the situation, which he did not. After i told him I have a disability, so the walking was hard on me, he told me that was my fault. It's been a very long time since I have talked with someone so mean and rude to me. I do not suggest ever using and coming to stay at this hotel. If you need a good price, Days Inn is just a couple hotels down.

I stayed here for 5 days 4 nights for some training. This is a simple hotel but such a comfortable stay! The hospitality was amazing! I had one issue that they were so quick to fix. I couldn't have asked for a better stay! The pool is amazing the jacuzzi was awesome also the gym was small with 4 machines over looking the pool. I read reviews about no hot water and I didn't have an issue with that at all whatsoever. I would stay here again for sure! I had a favorite hotel on hotel circle before this one and just the way they treat their customers here they will have me return here for my next visit.

I enjoyed this hotel. It's quiet, the property itself is big. Lots of parking available. Friendly service. This hotel is located in a really great area if you have a vehicle. Lots of great restaurants and areas nearby. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Everything we could ask for in a hotel room.

We reserved a room with a roll in shower for 4 nights. ||Cons: ||The roll in shower did NOT have a built in seat. We asked for a shower chair and they brought up one of the really tiny seats that was missing several screws and was so loose and wobbly that a transfer to the seat was not possible. We tried to use one of the pool chairs but it was too low for me to transfer back out of. There was a broken slider bar for the hand held shower so there was not a way to mount the sprayer while using. ||The toilet was mounted in the middle of the bathroom so it was not close to a wall or grab bar on either side. ||No wheelchair accessible parking anywhere near our room (429).||Pros: ||Bedside lamps had outlets built in with small rocker switches to turn on/off. Desk in room was wheelchair accessible. Lowered closet rod. Iron and Ironing board mounted within a lower reach. Water pressure from hand held shower sprayer was great.|Had requested 2 extra towels (to use on the pool chair) and housekeeping was great about leaving these each day.||Meh: The room, in general, was about what was expected from a Best Western. It was older and not super clean/fresh but would suffice for a place to sleep. There was about 32" clearance on each side of the bed in our Queen room. Heating system worked fine. Decent lighting. Could still hear noises in the parking lot but not a problem. There was a fridge in the room but we could not seem to get it adjusted to where it would not freeze a drink solid overnight. We did not use the pool, laundry or the restaurant. There did appear to be a bus stop about 1 block from the entrance to the hotel but it is a steep downslope to the road and then back up hill a bit to the bus stop. ||Would not stay here again due to the lack of shower/toilet accessibility.

We have stayed at The Best Western Seven Seas a few times and last weekend I left my AirPods. My husband called and left several messages as no one was available to talk. In his message he told them what happened and where to find them. The manager finally called after three days and said that housekeeping hadn’t had a chance to look but she would go herself. Now it’s been 5 days and no response. Customer service is not what you get here.

Expected better service and cleanliness from Best Western but this felt more like a cheap hotel. Complete 180 experience from their Big Bear location that was amazing with great staff. Customer service could be better but after reading experiences from others it seems corporate doesn't care about Seven Seas, and has no plans to update rooms. Our room had spider webs in the corner by the sink mirror, iron had black dust fall out, and we could hear neighboring rooms coming in late. Just a few things from things we noticed. Would rather spend more to stay at a cleaner place with better rooms, and a brand that's invested into their portfolio of properties.
