NillI am so happy I stayed here ! My friends and I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott San Diego Mission Valley/Hotel Circle all week for my birthday trip. Check in was smooth and easy. The manager even gave us a dinner recommendation to start off our trip (which was delicious!). We would come back to a clean room everyday. The front desk staff was so friendly (even helped my friends with a birthday surprise for me!). If we needed something they got it to us quickly. I am very pleased with my stay. I would stay here again and I would definitely recommend to a friend.

NillThis was a quick trip. Employees are nice. The room was clean. The iron was broken. I called to have another iron brought up, and they brought me one. We paid for breakfast and coffee. I had eggs on a pita with cheese and avocado. It was good. If I have to stay somewhere again, I would probably stay here.

★★I am a gold elite Marriott member and must say that this was the most disappointing Marriott I have even been in! The communication with the front desk was confusing resulting in my getting misinformation about my reservation check in and check out times. As a result I was put in one room for the first night and then moved to another for the rest of the stay. At check out the times were conflicting which resulted in my scrambling to not be charged for another day's stay. |The room itself had several troublesome features to include...no suitable electrical in the bathroom! The only light was a huge circular lighted mirror over the sink that lacked a way to turn it off, which meant the door had to be tightly closed all night to avoid lighting up the whole room. The fixture in the ceiling had only bare light bulbs, no cover and were non-operational. There was no electrical outlet for the hair dryer and the on/off switch had been covered over with a plastic plate. I didn't realize all of this until I had already unpacked and settled in for a week's stay. Absolutely didn't feel like having to move another time to a different room. Instead I bought a 20 ' extension cord so I could use my electric "appliances" in the bathroom.|For some reason neither I nor 4 front desk people could even manage to engage my laptop with the wifi. Cell and Kindle were ok, but not the computer. Thought perhaps the fault was in the computer but it worked perfectly everywhere else I went.|Housekeeping staff was wonderful!|They did offer me 10,000 points which was a nice gesture, but amounted to 1/3 of a night's stayl|I usually don't write reviews of places unless they are outstanding..sorry to say this was a first.

NillConveniently located. Rooms are large. Microwave oven and fridge provided. Super comfy bed and pillows. Nice staff. Couch in the room is dingy/dirty and needs replacing. Gym is large. No mats :( so I used several towels. Parking is $30/day 😞

NillCould not get into the building after hours to check in. Had a sign to ring bell, but no bell to be rang. Guest Service who checked me in and checked out was not personable. Rooms need to be freshen up, just a bit dirty feel. I stay at nothing by Marriott and this one really does meeting the standard. .

NillThey will nickel and dime you to death. $30 a person for the same breakfast I get for free at Holiday Inn. They charge $30 a day for parking. Our room-to-room phone calls didn't work (yes, I dialed 7 first and tried without dialing 7). It says you can call the front desk to get transferred to another room but the front desk doesn't always answer their phones. The room was ok. There was no microwave in the room and my bathroom light flickered. Also, there are two elevators close to each other off the lobby. 1 took us right down the hall from our rooms. 1 took us to a newer part of the hotel, several hallways and doorways away from our room. It would have been nice if the front desk staff would have mentioned that when I was pushing a FULL unwieldy garment cart, very hard to maneuver, to the latter. Overall, left with a "won't stay there again" feeling.

NillNice room, good location. Bath was nice. I came in with the window open. I only discovered when the heat wasn't working.. and the highway is loud. Didn't think much of it. Then went to bed and found a black spider on my pillow!!! Ah!
