★★★★★We reserved the entire motel for a wedding weekend. The Astro went above and beyond in facilitating the event and making sure everyone's stay was the best. We had a food truck in the rear garden area, tables in the garden, ,and conversation around the fire pit. The consensus opinion from family and friends was that the Astro made the wedding weekend wonderful- the retro ambiance, garden to wander in, and friendly and helpful staff were all appreciated. It was the first such large event the Astro hosted with the entire hotel reserved,, and based on our experience it won't be the last for special events such as ours. Thanks for everything, Astro!

★★★★★We loved staying here. In the room: comfortable furniture, neat art, modern and functional bathroom (neat tile!). On the grounds: lovely garden, nice seating areas, great sculpture. So much more fun than an average, boring motel. Also, tasty granola, yogurt and fruit for breakfast. We loved being across from the Luther Burbank home and gardens, and Julliard Park. We walked to Courthouse Square with lots of good restaurants (we loved Warike), half-mile or so. Yes, there were some homeless around, near the river walk, but not an issue. We'll be back!

NillStayed in a dog-friendly room for Valentine's Day weekend, I have no complaints! The bathroom looked great, the bed was firm, everything was clean and comfy. The continental breakfast was kinda basic, but was also healthy and locally sourced. The motel itself was within walking distance of some cool places, and a short drive away from many more. Would stay here again!

NillWe stayed here on a Saturday night for an event on Sunday. Could not have had a better stay. Matt was super helpful with check-in and was easily accessible for questions or assistance. The grounds and rooms were super clean and adorably retro. The bed had a memory foam mattress that was incredibly comfy and the linens were lovely. The room had everything you might want. The continental breakfast featured local, organic granola, fruit from the grounds, organic yogurt, coffee and hot water. They even had oat milk! The lounge was welcoming and comfortable. They are also right next door to Julliard Park which was wonderful to stroll through both in the afternoon and early the next morning. I highly recommend this stay, both for a great experience and an affordable one.

NillWe reserved the entire Astro motel for our daughter's wedding. Everyone loved staying there. It had the perfect low-key retro vibe, and we had a wonderful pre-wedding dinner with a food truck in the garden. The Astro staff went above and beyond in making sure the weekend was great. It was the first such event hosted there, and based on our experience there will be others. Consensus description of the wedding weekend was ?magical".

★★★★★When staying in Santa Rosa, you don’t want to miss the Astro Motel. ||I can’t wait to go back to this amazing retro art hotel with the best bed I’ve ever slept in. Just fancy yet comfortable enough with an incredible staff that instantly feel like friends. ||The rooms are lovely and calming with big nesty beds and pretty retro furniture and art. Outside are pathways through a landscape including sculptures, big citrus trees and other surprises. ||The fascinating Retro Lounge serves a delish continental breakfast. The lounge is open to guests all day.||For whatever kind of travel, the Astro is so relaxing and uplifting at the same time. |I found it such a joy to start and end my days here. The Astro also has an excellent location.

NillOne of the top 2 hotel experiences ever. I've stayed in lots of motels during my career. This one was really special as the location was about 8 minutes from our venue. The bed was the most comfortable ever (Casper mattress and linens (yes real linen) and the down duvet cozy warm. Our morning breakfast of fresh picked fruit from the courtyard "garden", fresh yogurt and Spinster Sisters Granola with ready coffee or hot water for tea was relaxing. While munching we looked at the vintage library on the shelf or all most antique magazines on the coffee table. The Astro staff is readily available be it Elsa, Matt, Bob, or Jennifer made our experience relaxed after a day of seminars. We will definately stay again when in Santa Rosa.

NillWe live in Santa Rosa and stayed at the Astro while our home was getting repaired. We actually had the best staycation and were able to bring our dog. The room was retro cool and we loved the wooden accents and special local touches. Everyone was very friendly and the granola, yogurt and fresh fruit (from their trees!) was perfect. When we have out of town guests we will put them up at the Astro!
