McGills Hotel and Casino

What a weird experience. I went in here on Super bowl Sunday looking to watch the game and grab some dinner. They had a "brisket special", It was actually some sort of food service canned corned beef (I know exactly what I'm talking about) with barbecue sauce on it. I told the guy behind the bar exactly what I thought about it (respectfully!) and offered him $100 if he could show me the smoker that it came out of.. I was promptly asked to leave, even after I offered to pay for my single beer that I had purchased. I know quite a bit about smoking meat, and this meat had never seen one iota of smoke and it's entire existence off the cow. This is one of the strangest dining / serving experiences that I've ever had. The food tasted good, it just wasn't what they said it was, and I called them out on it. I just really don't and appreciate when I'm lied to about what I'm paying for? I suppose buyer beware? I might go back in here for a pint of Guinness but NEVER again for food...

I love McGills , but we have only stayed in tiny rooms! Their restaurants are good and I have won a jackpot there! Play there, eat there and ask for a big room

I honestly didn't stay just played. Honestly same as every other casino Except!, Nicky the bar tender, she was welcoming engaging encouraging and the reason I lost all my money jk. Thanks Nicky!

While the room was very small, it was clean, comfortable, and convenient to the casinos and the ice sculptures. Christine and the ladies at the desk are very friendly and willing to help.

My wife and I had dinner at McGills Pint & Platter. The food was good especially the Guinness stew in the bread bowl. Fish and chip was good. Fries were great. However our server Seth was not a good waiter at all. He was not attentive to us at all. Brought the check before we finished eating. I had to ask for another beer so he had to go redo the check we didn’t ask for. Terrible service.

Man no matter how much I spend here I can't even get a dilrink the girls just walk right by me and ask everyone else if they want a drink I tip really well but if I can't even get a dilrink the just want even look at me I realize drinks are free but that's not a reason to completely ignore people

There is a line at the cashier of 10 people deep and one cashier while two managers and security guard talking about nothing related to business. The one cashier was abrupt and assumed I knew what I needed to do with my bus ticket. When this was my first time using the bus. When I talked to the manager she could care less about the line and the service received. Nothing changed and when I came back as they were laughing and still talking and the line was long. No wonder the casino is so empty with this level of service.
