Candlewood Suites McDonough by IHG

I’m waiting on my new home to be ready. I chose this hotel because of the in room cooking. My expectations were exceeded. Its close to valentine’s day. The staff left a card a long stem rose on my door. Next, while I was out and running errands, staff cleaned the room and put all dishes I was planning to wash in the in room dishwasher. The room was clean with no true discrepancy. They accept pets too. The warmth received when checking in and extending my stay was exceptional. I completely recommend this hotel for any length of time needed. They have laundry facilities and a gym. Didn’t use the cupboard because I went to the nearby publix grocery store. Everything is near just know the traffic can get crazy at typical traffic times. Thanks team for being awesome, warm and welcoming. See you next time!

Shh ! I want to keep this place a secret. By far the best accommodations if you like to feel at home. The free laundry was excellent, nothing like going home with 90% of your clothes clean from a 10 day trip.

The hotel is a good place to stay and we had a noise situation above our heads. Went to the front desk and took care of it immediately. That’s great customer service when they take care of it personally. The rooms are great just wish they had complimentary breakfast. On Expedia site it says they have it but this hotel didn’t have it. But other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The lady at the front desk had beautiful magenta colored hair, she was so polite and helpful. Thanks to her I felt seen and appreciated for staying. Keep up the good work. She also told us about the FREE coffee and Hot Chocolate that we loved. Thanks again.

I don’t normally stay at Candlewood Suites on business. This was a leisure trip and we took our pet dog. The hotel was pet friendly. Our room was clean, staff friendly, and the room comfy. Good and safe location.

I had a great experience at this hotel; it was really clean, and the staff was very helpful and responsive throughout my stay. Dulce at the front desk went above and beyond for us by ensuring that our stay was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

I just finished a work trip and was at this hotel for 2 months. Every year for the last 8 years I have traveled to Georgia and this is by far the best hotel. The GM Devona was very hospitable and was always greeting me by my name as well as the people at the front desk Kristyn, Tatiana, and Dulce. The room was very nice and clean and housekeeping is on point. Melvina does a great job with that. Thank you for the stay and I will definitely come back:)

First would be front desk clerks that ignore you standing right in front of them on their phone while you stand there. A working grill without excuses. When you ask for cleaning of your room, maybe (a big maybe) it will get done. The manager is not friendly at all, making excuses for simple requests to remove and change out towels. (To prevent us and them from getting sick?) COVID is over, once a week touch up is ridiculous. Blamed on the Candlewood brand, and me and my guys have stayed at different hotels (even IHG) and never had an issue with requests. I was told to throw my trash in the hallway and change it myself. The halls were littered with trash and it smelled. Coffee machine only worked half the time and that’s the only thing they offer unless you want pay. Would love to talk to a regional or district manager about the stay. Don’t stay at this hotel
