Hampton Inn Atlanta McDonough

Really disappointed in our Stay. Every Trash Can was over flowing full and Our A/C unit rattled all night long ( NO sleeping for us ) and was curious at why they didn't offer Decaf Coffee with breakfast. The last 2 Hamptons we stayed at on this trip were Amazing, this being the last stop before home was NOT a positive Stop.

Hampton is one of the few hotel chains that wash comforters between each guest...so I almost always stay at a Hampton if there is one at the location I need. Plus they are clean with good service and you get a hot breakfast. It's dependable, good value. Maya at the front desk was very pleasant and gave us a great restaurant recommedation (Hacienda McDonough). I'll be giving them an excellent review as well.

Very nice property in a very convenient location. Clean but bathrooms could use a bit of attention; caulk replacement and grout repair was in order. It wasn't a major problem but does need attention. We stayed with our dog and found it to be very dog-friendly. Overall, a great property!

Not the Hampton you’re used to. The beds are not the soft cushy beds you’re used to. They’re FIRM and springy. Also, the breakfast is gross. The fake eggs are mushy. Unfortunately, the potatoes were the same consistency. Every Hampton I’ve been before was better. It’s not awful here. I just got used to better Hamptons.

Large stain on carpet. Trashbags not in trashcans. Yet placed on trashcans. Bathroom tissue holder broken. The bed pillows were small and worn out. Very flimsy. I had a king size bed and the pillows seem to be for a twin size bed. I shared this experience with Hilton Help and was told I would need contact hotel directly due to booking rate. Hilton was unable to intervene because of that. I was simply sharing my experience but I take it the issues wasn’t major enough. I’ve never had this type of experience staying at Hilton property.

The breakfast was awesome! S/o to the cook! The rooms are not what we expected. Very dusty & the light/fan in the bathroom was not working at all. The shower was dirty and the paint was peeling off the door.

If you ever wonder how to tank an otherwise nice review, this is how. I requested a late check-out when I checked in 3 days ago, which wasn't a problem. Only to have me be rushed out the door by housekeeping and the front desk when they didn't honor your approved late checkout. The scolding of "You should have checked this morning" of was just cherry on top. That's funny, I thought you'd honor your commitments. Especially when I planned ahead. I hope those extra few minutes where you rushed me out of my room, when you agreed to let me stay late, was worth earning this review. Thanks!

Power Equipment Distributors supplied us with rooms here. Very excellent accomodations. The room was nice and warm. The only negative was the curved shower rod for the curtain. Water leaks out between the shower rod and wall. I will never purchase a crescent shaped shower rod. 😆
