Super 8 by Wyndham McDonough GA

I booked a room online in advance for $45 a night for the weekend. I had the confirmation number and receipt.when I arrived to the hotel the price was $87 a day as well as the weekend. I was told the price went up because speedway was having an event. without notice!!. I was put in a room next to young adults smoking drugs all night the smell came into my room, loud talking and cursing, in and out of the room, slamming the door. No rest!! I tried to iron my clothes and water leaked out like a faucet also the ice machine didn't work.SMH Disappointed.

Positive: Nothing it was horrible it smelled.of poop and the shower and toilet were nasty. It had a nasty smell. Very disappointed Negative: Everything i was not made awareness a damage deposit and then when I paid it with card wasn't old i would get it back next day at check still have not received it. Urine on toilet and toilet used and not flushed

We needed a place to stop for the night on our way to Gatlinburg. The Super 8 was perfect for our needs. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the location is perfect. Lots of places to eat and gas very close by. Our dog was also welcomed. Would recommend if you are looking for a place to stop after a weary day of travel.

This is a cheap Indian hotel where they additionally take a deposit and say that they will return it in 2 days. Don't give them your cards, just go. To another place, check-in took 20 minutes, as well as taking the deposit also took time, I have never been asked for a deposit in any hotel before, and these were normal hotels, not this room with cracks in the doors and no lamps on the ceiling and normal lighting with an unpleasant smell inside, the girl at the reception was not friendly. Now I will avoid this chain of hotels.

The lady working at the front desk if a thief. 100% do not recommend. I called asking about a wallet I left with $300 in and she took the wallet and the money and started cussing me out telling me to call the police if I had something stolen however she failed to realize I have a tracker in said wallet. She will now not answer my calls and when she does and I mention my wallet she hangs up in my face.

Unfortunately, this Super 8 might offer a low price to overnight however they will definitely try to succeed in keeping your deposit . I requested a later check out from 11 since I'm a Wyndham Rewards Member I thought that it would be possible they gave me 11:30 . I was grateful for the extra 30 mins . I went up to the office numerous times to check out walking back & forth from the office to the room around the building trying to find assistance and none could be found . Finally , back to the room I go to since my vehicle was parked right outside of the room. An office personnel came there trying to tell me I was not out of the room on time . I had all my luggage in my vehicle and had been trying to find someone in the office to assist me . She told me to meet her at the office and she would check the video . She checked and of course was able to verify I was telling the truth . My fiance had his hands full and dropped Dr. Pepper on the sheets so she proceeds to tell me that she would be keeping the $50 deposit because she told me that it was not Dr. Pepper. She would not allow me to show her with water and soap it would come out once washed she continued to tell me it was not Dr. Pepper and their policy is I could not touch it because I checked out even though she was right beside me in the room. I totally understand if it was a stain that wouldn't come out . However , she was trying anything she could to keep my cash deposit . I'm sitting there in disgust looking at the mattress with other stains that had been there for a long time that had nothing to do with our accident of Dr. Pepper and she is telling me no this is not Dr. Pepper. My whole complaint was she was telling me basically that I was not telling the truth and I'm the one who saw my fiance spill his Dr. Pepper so I know it was Dr. Pepper . Very Very bad customer service. I really will not be bargaining on hotels. Hands down it is worth staying at a nice clean hotel that smells clean and is clean and safe totally worth paying more .

Had a horrible experience. My semi broke down I got towed to the dealership over there. Called ahead and confirmed availability at this hotel. Arrived and was treated horribly I’m not sure what the guy was thinking but I’m sure it was inappropriate. Was told I could not rent a room here he didn’t even hesitate to tell me no. Never even looked in his computer never even checked anything. Just instant get out we aren’t renting to you. I’d of paid any deposit no issue just needed a cool room and hot shower. But was treated very bad. He stood there and watched me the whole time I waited for my Uber to get there to take me away. Ended up getting a room very close by for similar rates good water pressure and comfortable bed. Greeted with open arms and treated with respect. Point of this review is DO NOT STAY AR SUPER 8 this is coming from a Wyndham rewards member for a very long time stayed at super 8’s nation wide.
