Savannah Inn and Suites Extended Stay

Awful experience. Rooms not as advertised. Told to go to a separate location. Room was absolutely disgusting, smelled of cigarettes. Not at ALL what we booked. Horrible service as well as the man working the "front desk" screamed at us for complaining about the room. DO NOT BOOK

We got stuck in Savannah GA due to a malfunction on our semi. The mechanic gave us a rough eta of 20 hours. This was at roughly 0800. We called this place up and the general manager answers. She was super kind and understanding of our situation and was able to cut us a small deal on our overnight stay. It’s not in an ideal spot if you’re there to sight see but if your visiting family or have a breakdown and need somewhere clean and modest this is it. The hallways and elevator had a smell to them but it didn’t get in the room and the bathroom was spotless, the linens smelled great as overall it was a nice place to rest.

Guys I can't really write this so I'm just going to say this I gave him all three stars because I did not stay there I was at the RV park if you see from the pictures hurricane Helene dropped a tree over my RV and my Toyota tundra both were total. USAA took care of me right away with my truck. Of course I'm having to wait for my check to come in I guess or direct deposit I'm sorry. As for progressive I am still waiting to make a settlement with them they are trying to rob me out of $10,000 because of a mistake on the phone. I hope I can go back in here and get progressive a better review. Right now I'm waiting for a settlement and I am told within the next 48 hours I will know something. For all those who have insurance and don't ever want to use it that has been me my whole life of course one time you need it because of a hurricane and you think you got the right insurance. And the insurance company actually could help you well I will get back with you and tell you if they do or if they rob me.

Don't waste your time or money on this dive. The only positive thing I can say is it's conveniently located close to downtown. The room we were given reeked of stale cigarettes. We tried to ask for a new room but there was no one in the office. The water pressure in the shower was barely a trickle. The laundry room had no lighting. Quite a few of the other guests smoked weed. Not a good place at all.

I was very disappointed and upset with my interaction at this location. Upon arrival, I was issued a room. When entering the room, I was met with fog on the windows and the sounds of rushing water from the tub that couldn't be turned off. I went back to registration and the receptionist gave me a room at the "house" at Carole Motel. I ended up going back and cancelling the booking at the cost of $67 (even though I barely entered the rooms). The receptionist was very rude and disrespectful when I told her we weren't pleased and requested a cancellation. She told me that if I didn't keep the reservation, she would call the cops on me for "keeping her key". I told her I didn't want to keep the key, but I wasn't giving it back until I got the reservation cancelled. She said they longer I stayed, the longer they would charge. My family and I didn't feel safe there at all and her threatening me just because I expressed our feelings, made it even worse. I will never book with that location again. We had to find somewhere else to stay which involved paying a higher cost, but worth it for my family's sake. If I could give this NO STARS, I would. 100%.

I wish I would have read the reviews of this place BEFORE my husband booked us. The only positive thing I can say is it's conveniently located to downtown. Our room smelled like stale cigarettes, shower water pressure was almost non existent, the laundry room has no working lights and half of the machines didn't work. Thank God we only stayed 2 nights. We tried to complain about the smelly room but couldn't find anyone in the "office." An added bonus there were quite a few other guests smoking weed to add to the stench outdoors. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra for better accommodations.

It's owned or partnered with several other low rent motels in the area. The ac doesn't work plus a straight sorry location you have to stand in a chair or on the counter to get to unless your 10ft tall. There's no hot water, I would of been better off sleeping in my car. The only reason I stayed here was because another hotel was overbooked from a booking website.

This is by far the WORST experience I have ever had staying at a hotel. And to make matters worse, I NEVER GOT TO STAY IN IT!! My family traveled 7 HOURS for a reunion to only be told that because we arrived a night earlier we couldn't stay there. Mind you, we understand that this was last minute but we saw that the parking lot was virtually empty and there was no one at the registration office. This was at 6pm and most hotels have someone at the desk 24/7. We were yelled at, threatened to get off the property and called some racial slurs I won't repeat here. How can you tell someone to get off their property remotely? You're not even on your property!! Please Google readers, do not stay at this hotel. The amount of disrespect, vile insults and to top it off, the hotel keeps charging my account. We will be prosecuting this hotel manager/owner if they don't stop charging our card.
