Chicago Marriott Midway

A convenient hotel, well located next to Chicago Midway Airport, with complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport every 20 minutes. The hotel is undergoing a general renovation, with improvements to all facilities, especially the rooms. The fifth and sixth floors have already been renovated, with the third and fourth floors currently closed for improvements. The room is comfortable, with an excellent bed and bathroom with shower and amenities. The hotel has a 24-hour fitness center and an indoor pool. The restaurant serves an à la carte breakfast. The lounge serves a continental breakfast buffet in the morning and a dish each day at 5:30 pm for elite members. The management is competent and the service is good.

Great location. Decent, clean rooms. But if you want customer service or plan on using their shuttle.... don't. Group of people were left standing at Midway for almost 40 minutes waiting for the "3x an hour shuttle". When another guest who was waiting with us called, she was basically called a liar and we were told we had just missed the shuttle. The rooms are fine for a clean, comfortable stay. But do not rely on location for a timely shuttle or receptive staff.

Convenient to Airport. Excellent small bar and buffet breakfast. Shuttle every 20 minutes, but you have to tell the front desk or they don’t stop for you. Overall clean quiet night. Small store by front desk for basics like meds or snacks. Will stay again

Could not ask for a better Hotel experience. We were there for my sister’s funeral and I felt at home here. Comfortable clean rooms with the hottest water I’ve ever experienced! A full Starbucks in the lobby. Bar and restaurant in lobby too. The Fireplace became my favorite spot. Thanks for a great stay!

My car was vandalized in the parking lot of the Midway Marriott Hotel. After escalating the issue to the director of loss prevention, he stated security is not at the hotel to protect customers property or customer safety but to protect the businesses property. This executive actually had the nerve to laugh at me on the phone and said he didn’t care, he is at home, sitting on his couch on his cell phone.||||It is 2025 and there are no cameras in the parking lot for police to be able to do anything. Marriott refuses to keep the customers property safe.

Beware of parking your car in the Marriott parking lot. My catalytic converter was cut off my car. The parking lot has no surveillance cameras and according to the Director of Loss Prevention the security officer at the hotel is not for customers security but to protect the company’s building. If anything happens they will accept no blame and even laugh at you on the phone. Don’t be fooled by their supposed security. Update: Marriotts Director of Loss Prevention laughed at me during our conversation, said I was being unreasonable for wanting compensation, said he was sitting on his couch at home and there is nothing he would do.
