NillLoved everything about this hotel! Rooms are on the smaller side but are perfect for 2 people. I was also able to pick whether I wanted a lower level or higher level room, and which direction I wanted my view to look out at. Really great location, very close to everything in walking distance. The design and decorations are really unique and fun, more on the modern side.

★★★★★My best friend and I stayed at the CitizenM for a weekend from February to March. This location was perfect -- close to lots of public transportation options, in walking distance from the riverwalk (very close), Millenium Park, the Chicago Theater, etc. The rooms feel futuristic with the lighting control and the space (though it appears limited) has under-bed storage that helps the room remain clean and the perfect size. Plus, the bed is super comfortable and very large -- no need to worry about bumping into your neighbor. This is my second time staying at a CitizenM hotel (the first being the Times Square one) and I am consistently blown away by the value of the hotel. Looking forward to the next trip!

★★★★★First time travelling on business here and I'm used to stuffy, older hotels. CitizenM offers a unique experience that I think younger generations will appreciate: tech-forward rooms with a modern layout, cozy amenities and a fantastic vibe. The attention to detail was insane, with almost every item in the room (as well as the rest of the building) having some kind of fun phrase or quip branded on it. This might be the first time I actually had fun just hanging out in the room, testing all of the tech and looking for words of wisdom from pens and hand-dryers. The stay was worth every penny and I'd encourage anyone with fun sensibilities to try it out.

★★★★★Not sure what else you could ask for as a solo business traveler. The hotel is in the perfect location and has every single amenity utilized perfectly within your space. Comically large beds, great showers, blazing fast internet speeds, and 24/7 food and drink options. For someone who wakes up early and likes to have coffee ready to go and a happy hour spot after work, this was a dream. Also, every single ambassador that works here is one of the best in the service industry

NillThe hotel was clean, conveniently located, and the staff was great. The bed was comfortable. There are a lot of accommodations that are appreciated - luggage storage before check in/after check out, free sparkling water, secure elevator, to name a few. I would stay here again and would consider one of the other locations if I happen to be in those cities.

NillThis is the strangest hotel I’ve ever been in. It reminded me of a hostile meeting a hotel. The rooms are exceptionally small, fine if you’re staying by yourself, but if you’re getting ready for a wedding with two people, it’s tight! It was a very eclectic space, uniquely decorated and funky. I liked that I could do everything from the iPad mini in the room, from turning on the TV to adjusting the thermostat everything was a few touches away. The shower left a lot to be desired. The water was lukewarm and I had it turned all the way hot, You also can’t get in the shower without getting soaked first by the freezing cold water due to how it’s set up. There’s not much privacy in these small rooms so you better be very comfortable with whomever you’re staying with. Great location, nice staff. Didn’t like that I had to get into two separate elevators every time I was leaving the hotel. All in all I’d come back but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

NillStaff were friendly, and everything was mostly clean. Bathroom had little privacy though, but this is a decent place to stay if you plan to be out and about enjoying the town and not inside. As the room is very small, it is comfortable for just a couple people and I wouldn’t recommend if you are claustrophobic. I enjoyed the modern decor and they had some awesome art. I would have given it 5 star if it wasn’t for the vulgar neon signs in the entrance lobby of the hotel. 🤷♀️ I thought that brought a trashy look to the place. Also I wasn’t a fan of the dancer in his underwear playing on the screen of the elevator ride. 🙄 That gave a totally weird vibe. But if that sounds exciting to you. This is your place.

NillLovely hotel, staff, rooms, art, and location. Definitely spring for a “premium” view if it’s available. The bar has great cocktails but no seltzers. Awesome terrace area and nice lobby.
