★★★★★Room was little small and they renovated and took out full body mirrors in all rooms. I had to stand on top of the toliet seat to see my whole outfit. Bed comfortable. Room very clean. Front desk very pleasant. Bartender William was very nice and talkative. I will stay again. Price was good. Close to plenty places to eat.

NillMy stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Riverwalk Chicago quickly devolved into a nightmare. Within hours of eating at the hotel restaurant, I was struck with a severe case of food poisoning. For three agonizing days, I was confined to my room, violently ill, vomiting, and utterly miserable. My business trip was completely ruined, and I was left physically and emotionally drained. The severity of my illness required housekeeping to change heavily soiled linens, a truly mortifying experience that underscores the gravity of the situation. Amidst this ordeal, I must acknowledge the hotel staff. They were consistently kind and helpful. The housekeeping team, in particular, displayed remarkable empathy and efficiency in dealing with a very unpleasant situation. The front desk staff was also courteous and understanding. However, their kindness could not compensate for the fundamental failure of the hotel's food safety. Despite assurances of a follow-up call from Hilton Corporate to address this appalling experience, I received no communication whatsoever. This complete lack of concern for a loyal customer who suffered a significant health crisis is unacceptable. To be confined to a room for three days, violently ill, due to the hotel's own restaurant, and then to be ignored by corporate, is a level of disregard I have never experienced. This stay was a complete disaster, and I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to be extremely cautious, especially regarding the on-site dining. My three-day ordeal was a horrific experience I wouldn't wish on anyone, and the lack of corporate response only adds insult to injury.

NillMy husband and I stayed here for 2 nights, and the hotel met our expectations—just what you’d expect from Hilton. Positives: • Excellent location. • Smooth check-in process. • Professional and courteous staff. • Spacious, clean rooms with well-equipped bathrooms. • Housekeeping was prompt after we informed the front desk. Negative: • Our initial room was newly renovated, but the main door lock was faulty. Although the hotel promptly sent an engineer to fix it, the issue couldn’t be resolved, so we had to change rooms. I hope the renovation extends to all rooms soon. Despite this minor inconvenience, I highly recommend staying here.

NillFor the loop, it's very affordable, with valet parking right across the street. The location can't be beat. Rooms are on the small side and there's no view, but speaking as a senior traveler, I found the bathroom layout roomy and very mobility-friendly. Staff is courteous and attentive, and the facilities are clean.

NillVery pleased with my stay. Nice fresh smelling room. The only issue I had was the multiple neighbors door slamming that woke me up at 6 am both nights I stayed here. It has a simple fix, hope they work on it.

NillI must say, the hotel Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Riverwalk is truly a gem at its location. From the clean and simple lobby that exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere to the immaculate rooms with comfortable beds, every aspect of my stay was delightful. The room amenities such as the coffee maker, mini fridge, cable TV, and free internet made my stay incredibly convenient and enjoyable. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service provided by the friendly and helpful staff. I must give a special shoutout to Olga, our room maid, who did a phenomenal job of ensuring our room was spotless every single day. Furthermore, the hotel's proximity to numerous stores, attractions, the metro station, CTA, and bus stops made exploring the area a breeze. It was truly a convenient and strategic location for our stay. I am already looking forward to returning to the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Riverwalk in the future. It was indeed a memorable experience that I will cherish.
