Silversmith Hotel Chicago Downtown

Beautiful cozy hotel right in the heart of downtown Chicago. My husband and I stayed for the weekend. We weren’t sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. Hotel is minutes walking distance from literally everything. You can walk to stores, restaurants, coffee shops, the Art Institute of Chicago, Millennium Park, the “bean”, shopping, etc. There is a train that runs directly out front of the hotel so we were worried about noise but we couldn’t hear a thing. Super quiet, modern and the bar area was nice. They have a small menu, great drinks (you get a free drink voucher with your stay). In short, we really liked this hotel and the location was perfect! Also, ask for Enrique. He was so helpful. Fantastic customer service. If management is reading this, give him a raise! Overall five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My kids (21 and 18) and I really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is modern with updated rooms and comfortable beds. The rooms have a good amount of space and a large closet. They also have a refrigerator. There is an L station right above the hotel. In fact, the gym overlooks the L track, which is cool. The first floor has a bar/ restaurant and some nice seating. Coffee is served in that area each morning. The bellman, Enrique, was awesome. He went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and was super friendly. The hotel’s location was great- walking distance to Millennium park (the Bean) and ice rink, the Chicago Art Museum, the Willis Tower and tons of great restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Location great! Very clean, guest services was amazing! I left a note when making the reservation about it being my friends birthday and they were kind enough to leave her a birthday card with a bad written note from guest services, very cool, thank you Victor!! Made the trip so special when we arrived. The romance package was worth it! Champagne was chilled upon arrival and chocolate covered strawberries were delicious, breakfast was also outstanding

I stayed at the Silversmith Hotel during an impact retreat and was thoroughly impressed by its timeless elegance. The interior design had a distinct nod to the Gatsby era, with thoughtful details and statement accoutrements that created a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere. The hotel’s central location made exploring Chicago a breeze, with attractions like Millennium Park and The Art Institute of Chicago just a short walk away. The staff were warm and welcoming, enhancing the overall experience. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a blend of historic charm and modern comfort.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was so beautiful and well appointed and was roomy and comfortable. Check in was a breeze and the staff very friendly. We were in town for a little romantic getaway and this was a perfect choice. We will definitely return!

The hotel was beautiful. Reasonably priced. Well located. And. The staff was amazing! Shout out to Anthony and Victor at reception and the amazing bartender who looks like Kyra Sedgewick. You made our stay in Chicago that much better. We’ll be back!!!

We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean and the staff was helpful. The valet service is amazing, as well. Especially Enrique! Quick, super helpful, and so so so kind! We would definitely recommend the silversmith to any of our friends coming up to visit.

From the moment we drove up to the front of the hotel we were taken care of! Enrique was AMAZING! He jumped in right away and helped us, allowed us to park in front, check in, take our bags to our room… even Victor, at the front desk was so nice, I am so glad we picked this place. I can guarantee you we would stay here again and again, no hesitation. Bed was super comfy too!
