NillGreat experience! My wife and I were in Chicago for business and sightseeing. The hotel oozes charm from its history as a former railroad company HQ; very fitting for Chicago with its history of railroads. The pics on the portal are true to life. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff at reception and food service. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated in retro charm, comfortable bed, efficient desk space, coffee maker, and squeaky clean. We appreciated the fast and efficient elevators. Maybe the best was the Seville restaurant in the penthouse; our waiter (Zared) was super knowledgeable about the drink and food selections, which were very uniquely curated and prepared, all in Spanish theme. We started with a Spanish version of mushroom crostini which was absolutely delicious. My entree was duck sausage pasta; out of this world unique and delicious. In keeping with the Spanish theme, I ordered a "Running with the Bulls" cocktail, a sangria type cocktail. Overall great experience. We will be back next time we are in Chicago!

NillThe rooms are well done for downtown hotel. Reasonable space though not expansive. A walk to much of the cities popular offerings though generally >.5 miles. The primary issue is the service. Every interaction has been fairly frosty from checkin where there were some issues related to a reservation and room block to a bizarre interaction relating to a pack and play we needed for our children and took more than 6 phones calls and 3 hours to sort out.

NillClassicly designed rooms in form and function. The location is spectacular. The cafe was very good. The on-site amenities and service was good. They have a contract for parking. It is at 326 S Wells St at $75 a night. Gold members get comped $18 per guest at the on-site cafe.

NillGorgeous hotel. I’m honestly glad I didn’t pick another one for my short weekend trip to Chicago. The room was absolutely beautiful and I was completely satisfied with it. So nice and clean I literally have no complaints. I got to the hotel around 1 and was able to check in very easily, staff were friendly. They have an area for you to get snacks and there were a lot of options. Nice bar and restaurant even though I didn’t end up ordering anything from there, the gentleman behind the bar were very polite. It’s located in a nice area too, easy to get to different places from there and there is a Giordano’s right across the street. I would definitely come here again and have already told some of my friends about it. 10/10 :)

NillI was in Chicago for an event at the Willis Tower. This hotel is across the street. Is about 2 blocks from Quincy L Station. Stayed in a King Room with Landmark view. Room looks better than the pictures online. Did not have an opportunity to try out the on-site restaurant or amenities. Overall, hotel met my needs and would stay here again.

NillVery convenient location, right off the river/ river walk. Room was beautiful, very clean and large. We didn't have the best view of anything being on the 12 floor. They have a bar downstairs, that stays open late, plus a kitchen you can order food from. It was a nice stay, no complaints

NillLocation is amazing! It is close to the Union Station, train stations, food, and a wonderful night life. Ubers found us easily. The area we were in is very walkable and safe. We had a plethora of dining and drinking options. Although it was disappointing that their rooftop restaurant is closed on the weekends. Nevertheless it did not stop us for enjoying the city. The rooms are a luxurious delight and the location has breathtaking views. It is a very clean and quiet hotel. We did not do it this time but we have used their parking and it is convenient. Staff is easy to find and knowledgeable. For the price and the vibe I would expect friendlier service but all my questions were answered. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back in the future

NillDO NOT STAY AT CANOPY. NOT WORTH THE $$$. The only highlight of The Canopy Hotel is its location. At over $667 for one night, it is severely overpriced. The rooms are small, and the view was nothing more than the back of buildings. No bottled water was provided in the room—an unacceptable omission at this price point. Customer service was equally disappointing. James at the front desk was unsympathetic to the exorbitant rate and unwilling to offer any accommodations, such as a room upgrade or complimentary services. Additionally, the advertised rooftop restaurant is not affiliated with the hotel, which feels misleading. DO NOT stay here. There are far better options, even among Hilton properties. Sable and The Drake offer much better value for the price.
