NillI recently stayed at Sable at Navy Pier, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The views from the rooms are absolutely stunning—whether you're looking out over the iconic Navy Pier or the beautiful Chicago skyline, it's hard to beat the scenery. The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, making it a great base for exploring the city. That said, while the hotel offers amazing views and a prime location, the staff could be a bit more engaging. The service felt somewhat detached, and it would have been nice to experience a more personable touch during my stay. Additionally, getting to the hotel can be a bit tricky. It's not the easiest location to access, especially for those who aren't familiar with the area or relying on public transportation. Overall, Sable at Navy Pier offers a solid stay with breathtaking views, though there’s room for improvement in the service and accessibility departments. Visited Nov. 2024, solo trip.

★★★★★Beautiful views & kind staff. |My daughter was getting married at City Hall & we chose the Sable for our accommodations. |Rooms are spacious, clean, modern and excellent views of the city!|During our stay , we had several employees who exemplified outstanding customer service & we’d like to acknowledge Joshua from the front desk, earnest the concierge, Luis the bartender & the restaurant manager. |Every time we walked through, they were friendly, remembered our names & were always offering assistance, even hugs 🤗 ||Unfortunately, this treatment was NOT universal. I’d just say that we were treated differently by other employees and we actually would wait until we knew “our people “ were on duty to resolve issues or concerns.|It wasn’t harsh but it was clear.||Our family will definitely be returning because of the aforementioned employees! |Their customer service was outstanding and they should be recognized for their service.

★★★★★The room was great! We had great service from Ernest, the restaurant manager, and the front desk. The views of lake michigan from our room was amazing! This was our second stay, it is absolutely worth it for the views alone! Thank for a great birthday weekend getaway!

★★★★★Absolutely wonderful stay. Quiet like no other hotel in the city, views of the lake and skyline in every room. Being on Navy Pier was great in that we could walk a good distance inside-excellent for Chicago in February. We were there as a couple but would have loved this location back in the day with our kids. It was a wonderful getaway and will likely become our go to location for years to come.

★★★★★Everything was wonderful! Joshua made our stay extra special! We celebrated my daughter’s 15th birthday and we appreciate the Sable helping! The view, the scenery and the overall ambiance is a great touch. I like Navy Pier a little more now that I’ve experienced staying at the Sable!

NillI stayed at the Sable Hotel at Navy Pier for Valentine’s Day, expecting a special and luxurious experience, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. First, the water pressure in the shower was almost nonexistent, making it frustrating to use. To make matters worse, I noticed mold on the shower ceiling and floor, which was unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. The overall cleanliness of the room was also below expectations. One of the most frustrating parts of my stay was the valet service. I had a dinner reservation for Valentine’s Day, but I ended up being late because I had to wait 15 minutes for my car. This level of service was disappointing, especially on such a special occasion. For the price and reputation of this hotel, I expected much better. The location and views are great, but the lack of cleanliness, poor water pressure, and slow valet service really took away from the experience. I hope management addresses these issues because right now, I wouldn’t recommend it.

NillOverall great experience and service from the staff. My only disappointment was not having a parking garage solely for the hotel. Valet is 80$ a night. I loved the view! I love the communication from their staff. It was very clean!

★★★★My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in February. The hotel was clean and the staff all accommodating and friendly. The hotel itself is extremely spread out. The front desk is quite a ways from Bay 3, where we were staying. Upon arrival, our digital key was not working. The front desk was happy to help, and quickly issued us keycards. On our 2nd day, we found our cards were again not working. After walking miles around the city and just needing to put our feet up, it was frustrating to have to walk back to the front desk to have our cards fixed. Typically, an issue like that wouldn't be a problem. However, when you are exhausted, the walk from Bay 3 is a long one! Again, the man at the front desk was friendly and helpful. | Our room was on the 7th floor, with a phenomenal view. We were treated with a beautiful sunrise on our 2nd morning. Sunset between the Chicago buildings was also beautiful. Our room was clean and comfortable. However, the pillows were awful. Stacking 2 together was just barely enough to feel like we were even using a pillow. I brought a blanket from home and used that for more support. | Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our at Sable and would not hesitate to stay again. If you are unable to walk long distances, this is not the hotel for you. However, if you don't mind walking, this is the perfect hotel when visiting Chicago. There is so much to do inside when the weather is bad. And you are walking distance (within a few miles) of everything! We walked to the field Museum, Millennium Park, Magnificent Mile, Chicago 360 and even found a small target close. Public transportation/Uber is readily available if you walk too far and need a ride back!
