Motel 6 Cedar Rapids, IA - Airport

I always stay at motel 6 in any state I go. This one here is by far the best one I've ever stayed at. I have personally met three of the front desk personnel. Fredquan and Natasha go far above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. The cleaning and maintenance staff especially treat you with respect and are always courteous and if they don't know an answer to your question the do their best to find you answers. The customer service provided my not only staff but the management far exceeds the gold standard of the hospitality industry. Strongly suggest if you are in cedar rapids iowa to check into this hotel.

Everything was amazing. Front desk people sure know how to make people want to stay longer. Always making sure everyone is happy. Natasha is always going above and beyond to make sure the guests have what they need. Rooms are always clean. The only down fall with the few times I've stayed was the water pressure in the shower or the shower curtain was falling off the wall. But other then that it's a great hotel. Always look forward to coming back when I need a place to stay when in cedar rapids.

Good Day Motel 6 Airport location in Cedar Rapids, IA. The service was praised for a great welcoming. The front desk gentleman by the name of Willard was a great help in setting me up for the stay in the motel. He gave directions to the room and wonderful entertainment site I would enjoy. Natasha and the rest of staff always go above and beyond to make your stay better. The staff is the only reason why I give them 5 stars. They’ve made me and my dog feel very welcome.

If I could leave negative stars I would.....With that being said the people just moping around all night outside I felt very unsafe (begging for money, cigarettes,and even asked if I knew where to get some weed from) ....this place is supposed to be a non smoking hotel that's why I came here but as soon as I walked in the building I smelled cigarettes and weed smoke and they blazed all night long (the worst smell) even had me feeling sick.....Now the good part.....when I got to my room there was no refrigerator no microwave no towels sheets looked like they haven't been changed and had stains on them I went to Walmart and bought new ones didn't wanna ask for another set they would have probably been nasty as well...also bought tons of cleaning stuff the bathroom hadn't been clean at all the tub was black in the bottom with rust spots and a big black ring around mid ways of tub the toilet had urine under the lid there was still urine in the toilet and toilet paper ...my white socks are now black on the bottom from walking on the floor there was also sticky stuff on the floor by the bed the bathroom also had a cigarette wrapper on the floor some face cleaning bottle and a wash cloth behind the toilet had i not been so tired from driving 700 miles today and the hotels around here being booked up I would have went to another hotel on down the road ......I will never stay at this filthy place ever again nor will I recommend anyone to I have never had bad experiences with motel 6 ever except tonight..... I hope they hire some help to clean this place because whoever is doing it now is doing a terrible job...I wasted 70 bucks here to sleep in filth listen to people yelling smelling weed all night and constantly checking on my car....after driving all day and with no sleep tonight tomorrow should be fun going to my destination I will probably stop at a truck stop to wash the filth off of me I'm sure it will be cleaner....I'm not even asking for my money back they don't care how their guest are taken care of they probably wouldn't care to even give half the refund back so why even bother

This hotel is by far the best. Very clean, and family environment. The atmosphere there is amazing. I love the fact that the housekeepers all get along and no fighting. The manager there is very friendly and knowledgeable. She helps with anything if you just ask her. I love that it smelled so good walking in. Thank you so much for the hospitality.. it was very much appreciated.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice for the price I paid. I'm recommend this place to anyone with pets since it was extremely pet friendly. I had zero issues with the room and service I received. The front desk person, her name is Natasha, she was very professional and courteous to me when I arrived. Natasha was the greatest!!!

"Motel 6 is a non-smoking hotel and in this particular location, many if not all rooms have no smoke detectors nor carbon monoxide detectors and damaged furniture etc. This location is a junk of a hotel and is not up to code. Customers happily smoke in their NON-SMOKING ROOMS and the employees accommodate through spraying air freshener and lighting incense in the hallway. Legal action has been taken. I DO NOT recommend Cedar Rapids Motel 6 - Airport to locals and travelers." — 𝘍𝘖𝘖𝘋
