Was in Duluth on on business and was looking for a hotel room in Canal Park. I stumbled across the Endion Station Inn. And it was a wonderful surprise. A small boutique hotel, in a 125 year old train depot, with quaint, rlaxing rooms. And three of the five rooms have a Lake Superior view. I had not been in a sauna for a while and it was very nice to be able to relax in the sauna with a beverage. And then out to the patio overlooking the lake for a little fire in the gas fire pit. Truly, a hidden gem. I will be bringing my wife back here on our trips to the North Shore. 5 Stars

Amazing location. The sauna was a delight. The rooms are fine, although both the bed and couch in room 2 weren’t terribly comfortable. The biggest issue is the amazingly thin walls. You can hear everything that is said in room 1 and it will sound like the upstairs guests are tap dancing. Room 1 came in drunk and it was like they were standing right next to my bed from the foyer. We then heard their entire drunken conversation for the next hour. Just as we were about to knock and ask them to quiet down, we could clearly hear them talking about going to bed. So, problem solved. I would stay here again, but I would really recommend to the owners to try to fix the noise. Tough in an old building, but it’s the one huge drawback. Also, you better love who you’re rooming with, because the bathroom is not very private, noise-wise, either. Cool place, great location, terribly noisy.

Endion station was great, the room was large and comfortable. The sauna was free and also amazing. It’s right off the walking path so it was easy to walk up the shore line and a short walk to Canal Park for great food and the concert venue. I’m glad to see this historic building being used. We will be back.

Loved top floor spacious room with king bed. Right on Lake Superior. Loved the many windows with views. Easy walk to everything you may want. Once we parked our car at the Inn we never had to use it again until we left! Want to return! Lots of room in kitchen & bathroom.

This is an adorable option for 1-2 people looking to stay right on the lake! The staff who were on this weekend were very helpful. The bed and pillows are comfortable. My only tip would be to bring a sleep mask. The rooms have tall ceilings and big windows that let in a lot of light over night.

The location is perfect! We were lucky to get beautiful weather in March and we were able to walk to so many places in canal park! Unfortunately one of the mornings we had a homeless person in the sauna due to the lock not working. One of the main reasons for booking here was the Sauna. It was less than desirable with leaves and papers littered throughout. It didn’t seem to get real hot. Hard to get a sweat going! On our 2nd day we discovered the lock on our room not working. We could lock from the inside while occupying but when we left we couldn’t lock it. We contacted the operators, they said they would come check it out. As of check out this morning we have yet to hear from them nor was the lock fixed. Disappointing!

One of the best places in Duluth to stay! Historic, lake access, and simplicity. We will always stay here from now on. |The room was clean, access was easy, and we enjoyed the free beer coupons. Allowing our pups to stay was a major added bonus! Thank you!

Amazing stay, we stayed in room 1 and I was worried about the room that buts up to the fire pit but honestly that wasn’t an issue at all and it was really awesome to have a view of the lake every morning. Very spacious room as well and was very clean. ||Only con is or would be con is the walls are on the thinner side but outside of a dog that barked once in room 2 our first night this wasn’t an issue at all and shouldn’t be a deterrent to anyone unless your really that sensitive to noise. ||In all I would stay here again id like to try room 5 but room 1 was amazing and the view from room one can’t be understated. ||Included are pictures of the Inn itself and a view from the window of Room 1.
