O'Haire Inn

We love the O’Haire and have stayed at it numerous times. It’s old and quaint but the rooms are immaculate. The included breakfast is wonderful and no trip is complete without a visit to the Sip n Dip. |The staff is all very friendly and make you feel so welcome.|There has been a sign for a couple of years now saying that they are doing a “retrovation“ ; supposedly replacing carpet etc but keeping its original vibe. We were looking forward to seeing the changes this visit but alas did not notice anything different. |The food at the restaurant is very good, although a bit pricey, however the servings are huge. They tout it as “fine dining” which is a stretch considering the atmosphere and |Dishes etc, but it is wonderful comfort food. A couple of improvements would help in the rooms: the sink and counter is very small so really no room for toiletries. A small shelf beside the sink would be very helpful. And also a towel bar by the sink. |When we stayed in February the hotel was very quiet…not many guests. It would be nice if they’d reduce the price during lowered seasons especially to help offset the CAD/USD exchange. Or even offer “frequent guest” discounts.

I just spent my birthday at the O’Haire and the Sip ‘n Dip, and it was perfect. Not only are they doing an amazing job with their retro-vation, every single staff person I encountered was friendly, helpful, and kind. The O’Haire and the Sip ‘n Dip are true Montana treasures. A must visit!

The place to stay in Great Falls. We had a recently renovated room on the third floor.|Loved the retro vibe. |Convenient parking, elevator to our floor. We had dinner at the onsite restaurant. Seriously the best dinner of our trip. Breakfast at the same restaurant at no additional charge. I think there were four choices. |Can’t forget the Sip and Dip. Tiki Bar with the mermaid. So entertaining and unique!My friend and I had the best time. Kudos to the friendly bartender. He introduced himself but I can’t remember his name. Great reasonably priced drinks.|Definitely would stay here again!

Retro. You get what you expect- nostalgic excellence. Friendly staff, free breakfast, pet friendly for only $30 more, cool tiki bar, cool swimming pool... nice location. We go back as much as possible. "It's like the first time, every time. "

Easy in the wallet and the perfect antidote and authentically cool alternative to staying at another boring soulless corporate branded/managed hotel - most impressed by the team at the property and how good they are at what they do at the hotel and the restaurant.... Oh did I say the Sip-n-Dip is upstairs? What could be better?! 😎🤙👍🧜‍♀️

The absolute best no frills motel. Clean and quiet. Stop into the the famous Sip and Dip tiki bar connected for a splashing good time. Make sure to try and catch the mermaid show.

Our second time staying here, we love this kitschy tropical 50's themed motel. Great mermaid bar within a tiki lounge, there is occasional live music also. They have really spruced up the outside of the place and are renovating some of the somewhat standard type rooms. Indoor parking is available. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. A surprise high point was a delicious breakfast in their restaurant with the world's greatest pancakes. Only negative is the hallways on the ground floor which are drab, smelly and feel almost industrial. Not nearly enough to keep us away from this one of a kind establishment however.

We really liked the retro look of the hotel. It is not too updated and keeps the original 50s feel which is rare. We just stayed one night and it was very comfortable and easy to park close to our room. Sadly the bar was closed as it was labor day. We had breakfast next door which was ok.
