Econo Lodge Ponderosa

This was are family's first time staying with them. We were so happy with the services we received. The underground parking was a plus. The room was very clean, very nice queen beds. The showers had great pressure and the water was very hot and stayed hot. Now breakfast was great they had the normal cereal and breads. But eggs and biscuits and gravy. I would recommend staying with them, If you want a great stay for a good price.

Layout of the hotel was nice for downtown location. Underground parking was a nice addition based on its location. Rooms themselves were nice and clean, a little dated but they certainly met expectations. Only complaint would be there when we left there was absolutely no one at the front desk to officially check us out.

This place is not as bad as the reviews say. However..the hallways smell really bad. Couldnt tell if it was skunk, must, Or weed. BUT overall the rooms were clean, bed were comfortable and bathroom was perfectly fine. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good too. No REAL complaints. Great price for a decent place to sleep

I 'stayed' here once while family was in town visiting, and I often buy parking passes from them. And thats enough for me to say the staff is very friendly! They answer all questions I had both as a patron as concerned local, and they do so with a smile. The rooms are nice for the price, and the amenities in the hotel are decent as well. The parking is decent, considering local. And, the actual hotel itself is in a perfect place! So many good restaurants within walking distance! Biggest issue is layout. It's kind of a pain to find a certain room without being told exactly how to get to it.

Stayed here for a couple of days with my son. The staff here was nothing short of amazing. From moving us to a dual queen bed room, to letting me use a cord to charge my son's iPad for the time I was here, to holding a package that shipped overnight. Every time I had a question, they were quick to respond and get an answer for me. The underground garage is a nice addition, as is the location downtown. The rooms are a bit dated, but there's nothing really wrong with that as they're clean, functional and quiet.

Well I have stayed here twice. I've been on the second floor in a smoking room. And I have to say the beds are very comfortable its not squeeze together I'm also in a bed with two rooms. The young lady that has checked me in twice now she is a sweetheart very nice and very compromising. I would recommend this hotel. The parking is underground which is nice because nobody can get to your car so you know it is safe. Yes it is an alleyway in the back but its near a bank and I've never seen a drug dealer or anybody out there...

Rooms were old, air conditioning and microwave didn't work. It was 98 degrees out when we checked in and the air conditioning in the room didn't work. How can hotels operate like that?!?! They charged a $50 deposit to my credit card without telling me they were going to. Added $20 on to the nightly amount because we had a dog. This dollar value was not advertised, it just said a fee may be charged. Had I known about the fee ahead of time, the room wasn't such a great deal and I could have stayed somewhere nicer for the combined amount this place was charging. Went for my "free breakfast" which was included in the room and they were out of eggs, orange juice wasn't cold. We will never stay here, or possibly any other Choice Hotel chain location again!

I have stayed here a couple of times. Always has excellent prices which is the main reason I stay here. It's right in the downtown area (that is basically empty these days....bet Montana folks are happy with America's great economy now hey?? Haha). It's walking distance to a few places. Plus they have underground parking which is nice in the colder seasons.
