Malmstrom Lodging

Great sized rooms with fridge, microwave, living room and separate bedroom/bathroom. No hot water, no wifi. By "no" I don't mean in and out or shortage I mean none....No hot water, zero wifi. Positives - Close to commissary, bx and shoppette. Great stay minus lack of wifi and hot water which are not accommodations but rather expectations when paying a premium price compared to the economy.

Amazing stay in the family lodging of the inn on Malmstrom, they are very accommodating, they have housekeeping even to these little separate units with kitchen and living area. Pet friendly. Dog exercise area in middle of units. There's also a dog park on Malmstrom. Great price. Walking distance to club Grizzly Bend. Entire stay on base with BX and commissary was great. There is a DFAC though we didn't get to use it. Grizzly Bend did a family friendly Octoberfest, and I'm sure they do other events. It's a beautiful base, and town. The Missouri River and it's charms are all nearby too.

While this “inn” is very clean and located in a safe area. They fail to tell you they don't have ANY WiFi. And that it’s been nonfunctional since last April. I’ve met other couples that have complained about the same situation. People who clearly have work to do and schoolwork.

This is a really nice hotel. The staff was very accommodating and the rooms are great. |Although a little dated which is to be expected, the rooms are large and extremely comfortable. |They do an excellent job of cleaning, everything was perfect. |The coffee bar was very welcome as well during the cold snap I happened upon. |Everyone was very kind, enjoyed very much!

Nice size rooms a little bit dated but clean and the staff is very friendly. My only main complaint was numerous issues with no hot water and the TV not working.

5 stars for customer service... 3 stars for the rooms being converted dorms with a shower so tiny that I kept bumping the temperature from hot to cold. Internet was decent and A/C was present and functional most of the time. I appreciated the rustic look of the lodging in general, definitely fit in well to the Montana setting. No elevator. Awesome coffee machine. Great central location.

Spent 3 nights here on a road trip - hard to find a better value and more welcoming staff. The VQ suites are extremely reasonable - large, plenty of room to spread out and very clean. Good laundry room (also very clean) is a welcome plus. Quiet, and of course, it's always a pleasure to be back around our young service members. Would rate excellent but for the lack of glasses and utensils in the wet bar area.

Totally impressed! Stayed in TLF while visiting. First, they had pet rooms, including a crate, feed bowls, pet towel, poop bags. No hotel does that! The rooms were recently remodeled. Washer and dryer in the room! We wished we could have stayed longer! Ran into 3 staff while walking the dog, all very friendly and helpful! The front desk manager was personable and helpful as I watched him interact with other guests. Very reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back!
