NillThe recent negative reviews seem pretty accurate to me. There were big stains on the sofa. The shower door was completely missing (how does that even happen?). The front desk offered us extra towels since they gave us no choice but to completely soak the bathroom in order to take a shower. Breakfast was virtually gone by 8 am and not replaced. Never heard from or even saw a manager. I am completely loyal to Hyatt, but will never be returning to this one. Would suggest looking elsewhere.

★I stayed at the Hyatt Place Cincinnati/Sharonville Convention Center from April 20 to April 25, 2025. On Monday night, after my first night there, I discovered a tick attached to my body while taking a shower. It had bitten me, and I saw some dark, red spots. This was the first time I’ve ever experienced something like this, and it was extremely frightening.||After doing some research online, I learned that tick bites can potentially lead to Lyme disease, which made me even more concerned. I immediately went to the front desk to report the incident. The staff member I spoke with said he would inform the manager and offered to move me to a different room, relocating me from the second floor to the fifth floor.||When I gathered my belongings and met the staff member at the elevator on the second floor, the elevator door wouldn’t open. He explained that the new management team had implemented a system requiring a door key to access the elevator, which was causing issues. As a result, I had to climb the stairs to reach my new room on the fifth floor.||For the remainder of my stay, I waited for the manager to contact me regarding the incident, but no one reached out or followed up. After checking out, I contacted Hyatt’s escalation team and was told the property manager would get in touch with me. However, a week passed with no communication. When I called the escalation team again, I was told the manager had tried to contact me and would reach out again that day. I checked my phone and email, but there were no missed calls or emails, including in my spam folder.||I contacted the escalation team once more today and received a similar response: the property manager would contact me. At this point, it feels like the property manager doesn’t prioritize customer health and safety, which should be the most important concern for everyone.||I’ll provide updates if this situation continues to be handled poorly.

NillI was there from Columbus Ohio as part of the event set up team for the Metro Golden Bus awards. After setting up for 6 hours I was ready to check in to my room, relax for a little then shower and get ready for the event because I had to work the registration table. At about 3:30, I was told I couldn’t check in because the system was down. I was told the manager was doing an interview and they weren’t sure how long the system would be down. I ended up having to shower in a co-workers room so that I could be ready in time for the event registration. I was unable to check in until about 9:30. My husband and children were supposed to drive down but because of the uncertainty with checking in, I told them don’t come. Nothing was offered for the inconvenience. The room was pretty much a waste of money, check in at 9:30 and I had to leave at 7am to make it to another event. The only reason I didn’t cancel the room because I was too tired to drive home after setting up and working an event all day. I paid for a king suite that I reserved due to my family supposed to come down as well. I wasn’t able to relax or shower in the comfort of my own room. I feel my room should have been comp or at least a discount offered for the huge inconvenience. The room also wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. There was a candy wrapper on the floor and a strand of hair on the dresser. I will never book there again.

NillWe had to wait a while as no one was to be seen when we tried to Che k in. But everyone was friendly. The faucet in our bathroom only had hot water which was lousy for brushing our teeth. The room was clean though. Pool was fun for the kids. The gym had a peloton which I was excited about, but it wouldn’t connect to the internet. The treadmill had old gum stuck on it. Beds were very comfortable.

NillIf you’re considering a stay here, I’d encourage you to look elsewhere. I attempted to address several serious concerns calmly and respectfully with the on-site manager, who claimed she couldn’t assist because I had booked through Priceline. When Priceline contacted the hotel on my behalf, she refused to help them as well. Priceline informed me that the manager told them she would follow up with me directly. When I called the hotel again, the same manager answered — but pretended to be someone else — even though she addressed me by name. She said the manager would “be in touch.” Of course, no one ever called back. The issues we experienced during our stay were not minor inconveniences — they pointed to a larger lack of care or operational oversight: • Our room had broken window shades that would not close. • The phone in the room didn’t work. • We were not given enough towels or toilet paper for our stay. • The lobby bathroom was dirty, with a clogged toilet. • The gym didn’t have clean towels available. • The pool was already closed by 10 a.m. despite being open earlier. • The breakfast was poorly stocked and barely maintained — basic items like silverware were missing, and the only beverage available was milk (which is a problem if you’re lactose intolerant). Whether these issues stem from understaffing, poor management, or sheer indifference is unclear — but either way, the guest experience suffers. It’s been enlightening dealing with this hotel. I genuinely hope the manager’s day reflects the same level of service she provides to guests. It’s clear that doing the bare minimum isn’t just a pattern here — it’s policy.

NillBefore anything, the 2 people at the front counter are 100% the best part of the stay, professional, polite, friendly and helpful. That being said... First, had to wait over an hour to check-in. When they finally got us checked-in, they "upgraded" us to a smaller room, because the one I booked 2 weeks in advance was sold out somehow. When we finally sorted that out and got our room that was magically available there wasn't enough bedding(pillows and blankets) for the amount of people we checked in with. We got settled in and went about our business behind schedule and got back around 9pm, and had to drive around for ten minutes before we found parking. After a rough night due to noisy people next door and in the hallway, I was looking forward to a nice breakfast, unfortunately there were no eggs, waffles, potatoes, plates, sausage, silverware or juice. Not a great selection. Just toast and cereal. Very unsatisfied with the stay here so far. Day 2.. Now my keys don't work, had to go get new ones. Don't think they can do anything right here, but the same 2 people at the front desk helped with their professionalism and courtesy.

★★★★With comfortable beds, a clean room, and ample parking this Hyatt Place is a good choice when in the Cincinnati area. The breakfast crew seemed a bit understaffed for the amount of guests the morning I was there but that was the only issue with my stay. Check in was quick and the desk attendant was pleasant.
