Holiday Inn Express Cincinnati West by IHG

Good value. Clean room except for a few hairs in bathroom sink. Comfortable beds. Nice to have small fridge and microwave. Free parking. Really nice breakfast for a hotel. Staff all super friendly!! Negatives: USB ports between beds did not work. One plug in in the bathroom had a prong stuck in it. Never given any hand towels all the days I was there! Also had to get new room key every day…which was a pain since I was there for 3 days. I would stay again though

I have recently stayed at this Holiday Inn Express while visiting Family and attending a wedding in town. The atmosphere was pleasant. My first experience was with the lovely young lady at the front desk. I believe her name is Aspen! She is very sweet. She seemed very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. I later had to come back to the desk because our room lacked several items that we needed, like towels and trash liners. She was able to get everything we needed, and did so with a smile. My son came back later because we locked the key in the room. Again she helped with a pleasant attitude! Such a sweet young lady.|The hotel could use some improvements. Maybe even updated a little (or a lot). The housekeeping needs to be a little better. The room was ok, however it could have been a little cleaner. I was told by another employee that the pool wasn't working. That was definitely bummer. All in all, it was a nice stay!

Room was pretty good. Beds were very comfortable and pillows were very nice. Had to pay $100.00 incidental deposit. 28 Days later I have still not received deposit back. My bank says that Holiday inn has not released the funds yet. All I can say is if you stay here don't expect to get your deposit back anytime soon.

Very quiet (at least even room numbers). Great breakfast. Comfortable rooms. A lot of parking spots. Confusing entrance to the parking lot. Waited for the receptionist. The breakfast attendant kept tables clean and all food supplied.

Plenty of parking. Easy check-in. The staff was excellent from the maintenance man walking in the hallway to to the front desk staff. We had an issue with our TV in the evening and the gentleman work in the front desk came right up and fixed it. During check out the staff member we dealt with was just so nice and cheerful even having to work on Mother’s Day. I would highly recommend this hotel and will be coming back to stay at this hotel as this is my hometown.

Genn at check in was great. She had to come up and reset the tv cable system so I could relax and watch tv. Sandra was also very helpful during my stay. This is now my go to accomadation when traveling to Cincy. One of the best breakfast options I have ever enjoyed anywhere.

Positive: Location, room is spacious. I liked the extra bench type seat along the wall to put my suitcase on instead of having it on the floor. They worked well with me each time I had extend my stay, I'm working in the area Negative: The elevators seemed to need some tlc

We didn't have a bath mat so used towels. Bathroom fan didn't work and a/c-heat was very noisy. Shower sounded like a screeching alarm. Bar sink kept backing up. Bed was very comfortable, though. We both slept quite well. Some room remodeling is definitely in order.
