I am not satisfied with my stay. I don’t live here in Cleveland and came here to surprise my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day. The first room I was given had items left from the previous people, a horrible view ( staring into a wall of Tower City) and was a connecting room. I phoned the front desk and informed them of the items, and I was relocated to a different room. It’s very unacceptable that the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned it made me question the rest of the room and the entire hotel’s cleanliness in general, mind you this being a four almost five star hotel there’s an expected level of excellence. It made me regret instantly the decision I made, I wanted to leave but with the no refund policy that would’ve been a complete waste of time and money. Although 1103 was better prepared, there weren’t any robes in the closet and our mini bar was not completely restocked, it’s the standard little things that bother me the most. Again this wasn’t an inexpensive stay, and the quality of service and deliverance of that service was unfortunately not met in the room. The bellman were great. When I did my research on which hotel to pick for him I wanted only the best as he only deserves the best. And it was between two hotels and I decided to go with the Ritz as it seemed to be the best. I can confidently say I should’ve went with the competing hotel and will do so on my next visit. Sincerely, Jasmine

Had an excellent experience staying at The Ritz-Carlton! Our room was super clean and the view from our hotel room was phenomenal. Staff was also super helpful and friendly if you get lost or need to know how to get to somewhere. 100/10 would stay here again! :)

I only rated this four stars instead of the five stars it deserves. The positives. Great location for attending sporting events. Very professional and friendly staff. Our sleeping room was very comfortable. The bathroom was good with one exception. The cold water was actually hot! I tried trying the hot tap to see if maybe the lines were switched. But no, the hot water was hot too! It was this way the entire time we were there. I reported it, but obviously it is a big problem that requires some major plumbing work. Fortunately we had plenty of bottled water to offset the lack of cold water.

Spent a night here on the club floor. To access the lounge for Platinum members, there is a $175 fee for two people. Good value for money. The room was nicely appointed. A lovely bathroom with nice amenities including soap, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, cotton rounds, and more. Bed was very comfortable with pillow that was perfect for a side sleeper. Very clean room. The lounge had good food and drinks including a tea bar open at all times. It also has a very nice view of the lake and sunset (provided it hadn't snowed). Staff were very good and friendly.

Great hotel but falls a bit short of the Ritz status in my opinion. No SPA, limited in room dining, no other facilities besides a gym and sauna. The service didn’t necessarily make up for lack of all amenities. Our room wasn’t cleaned one night and they missed a night of turndown as well. The bathroom door did not lock and the handle was broken. Felt more like a 2-300/night four star hotel instead of 700/night. I will still say this is probably the best place in Cleveland. Not much choices here. Location is great.

Hotel staff was amazing. Amenities were amazing. Love that the hotel is connected to a small mall type place (very unique stores not typical for a standard mall), which also connects to a pretty big casino with different places to eat and such. Overall great stay. Also love that every Ritz location I've stayed at so far (including this one) allows pets.. specifically cats (most places only allow dogs).

Stay here only if you understand that this is not a true Ritz-Carlton experience. At best, it meets a good Marriott standard, with all the typical pros and cons of that tier.||It’s disheartening to witness the deterioration of the Ritz-Carlton brand, and the Cleveland property is a prime example. There is no service culture, no sense of hospitality, no warmth, no anticipation, and certainly no refinement. Does anyone even remember The Ten Golden Rules? I once used them to train my own staff, yet nothing from that philosophy seems to have survived here.||In my experience, spending $1,400 for a night here was an absolute waste. Save your money—this property is in desperate need of new management.

We did not have a great experience. My husband and I took a short trip here for my birthday to see a cavs game and unfortunately this Ritz location did not treat us well. First, DO NOT VALET!! They stole two coats out of our car and the manager Jasmine is not being helpful. I am hoping another manager will reach out soon so we can get this sorted as it is obviously inexcusable. I will update if they do. Also, when we first checked in to our room, the cleaners were still in there and it was a weird uncomfortable situation where we had to go back to reception and get a new room. Overall it seemed slightly sloppy and was not a well run hotel.
