The Westin Cleveland Downtown

We stayed the weekend from out of town for a volleyball tournament. We had a great stay. The beds were super comfortable, the shower was great and newly remodeled, the staff was very pleasant and hospitable and the location was amazing. We had a great time walking to find coffee and food near by. Be ready to pay for valet at $50/day or park yourself in a connected garage for $21/day- a heads up that the parking garage has extremely low ceilings. We especially appreciated the joyful and upbeat greetings we received each morning from Camerae!

We enjoyed out stay at Westin Downtown. The room is clean, the design of the bathroom is functional and well thought out. The staff is helpful and friendly. Parking is $50 per night for valet. However you can self park in the same garage for $20 plus tax over night. There is a rate table at the entrance of the garage.

This place is beautiful. The staff is amazing both inside the hotel and the attached restaurant Masa Agave. I am not often impressed with the Marriott brand because all of the Courtyards are so cookie cutter now. It looks like I need to start using other hotels!

Lovely stay here. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Elevators are fast. The restaurant Masa & Agave is great for breakfast. Location is convenient to everything downtown especially the Hall of Fame. Easy pickup spot for cab/uber too. We stayed on a high floor. Only drawback is the hallways can be noisy from guests at night so maybe stay away from the elevators.

Booked this hotel as it is a Westin and within walking distance to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - which is a positive. But it is a lot run down and allows people to smoke pot in the rooms. ||First room stunk of deodorizer to the point my eyes teared up and had an underlying smell of pot. We moved to another room which was much better but the room next to us smoked all night long. I would think this is a fire hazard and am surprised management isn’t walking the floors to understand that this is happening.||Decor is weird- blue walls and brown and gold carpet. Beds are not queens and are very low to the ground. Room is definitely beat up. Bathrooms don’t have venting fans. ||Definitely don’t recommend.

For a 4 Star Westin Hotel, the lobby bathroom are absolutely disgusting. Had homeless sleeping in the stall, after making a mess of the place. It definitley could be remodeled. Please Westin stay polished you're better than this. A clean bathroom is very very important

Stayed at the Westin downtown for our one night in Cleveland. Very clean property with a very cozy bar area that we enjoyed for dinner. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, but the room could use some updates. A couple of the outlets didn’t work (the one closest to the coffee maker), and the room temp control was off-it didn’t hold the temp we set it to and there was no option to keep the fan running to block out hallway noise. It was a warm night in the room. We tried to call the desk for assist, but no one answered. Otherwise, the property was pleasant and extremely walkable!

Positive: The staff was amazing! Especially. She moved gracefully and provided excellent customer service. Not just with me, but every guest I saw her encounter. Negative: Small issue, I didn't make a complaint. I mentioned it to Joanne at my departure and was assured that she will address the matter when I return.
